The care this office gives has been not been unnoticed. Thank you for always working my family members in from covid to seeing daughter driving herself back into town from college. I’m in the transition to working my family in as established primary patients. What I love about this office is someone actually answers the phone! I’m stepping away from Sacred Heart for my primary visits bc scheduling is a nightmare.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but certain groups are at a higher risk. These groups include sexually active individuals aged 25 and younger, those with new or multiple sexual partners, or anyone who does not consistently use a condom during sex. Also, individuals who have previously been diagnosed with an STD are at an increased risk.

Importance of getting tested

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease that can cause serious health problems if left untreated, including infertility in both men and women. It can also increase the risk of getting or giving HIV. The only sure way to know if you have gonorrhea is to get tested. Early detection and treatment can prevent these health problems.
