Friendly Staff

Carbon Health Urgent Care, Browns Mills - 6 Earlin Ave
I'm here from out of town and my chest cold progressed into bronchitis, I wasn't sure how the urgent cares were in this area but I heard great things about Carbon Health. Was able to book online and when I arrived the front desk staff were very kind and knowledgable about my insurance. Was called right back and seen very quickly. Even got x-rays (the x-ray tech was also amazing). Appointment was at 2pm, and I was out the door by 3pm. Highly recommend!!!

Short Wait Time

In general over many visits I was satisfied. Some doctors better diagnosticians than others. Sometimes was seen by nurse practitioners. Going again today.

Sparkling Clean

CityMD Urgent Care, Lanoka Harbor - 539 US-9, Lanoka Harbor
I always come here. It's usually busy so if you can, check in online and show up when it recommends to save yourself the wait. All of the staff, in the office and the physicians, are always kind and professional. I've been here for personal and workers comp claims and they treat me with the same level of care either way.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it is particularly common among young people aged 15-24 years. Individuals who have multiple sexual partners, those who don't use a condom consistently, or have a history of other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) should consider getting tested. Furthermore, men who have sex with men and pregnant women are also at high risk and should be tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Gonorrhea is a prevalent sexually transmitted disease that often shows no symptoms, especially in women. If left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, and an increased risk of getting HIV. Early detection through testing allows for effective treatment, preventing these complications and stopping the spread of the disease to others.
