Sinus Infection Treatment

Really frustrated as I went in with what I know was a sinus infection (middle aged woman who gets a sinus infection every fall for the past 25 years)and because I didn’t have symptoms for a full 7 days, wasn’t given antibiotic. I completely understand the over-use of antibiotics. I also don’t like to take meds (I was just prescribed a med by family doc and won’t take it due to side effects). I’m absolutely not someone who abuses meds. I was in extreme pain due to sinus pressure and couldn’t function for 3 days. After two hours of waiting I was told to take Flonase and a sinus rinse. This remedy is an easy google search and something I already knew about! Needless to say, I took an antibiotic (that my husband had left over from a previous infection) that night and by the next morning I was already feeling better. Please trust that patients (especially those of us over 40) know their bodies! I’ve referred your clinic to many, but I would not refer this provider. FYI - I wasn’t upset about the wait time as I know these are unprecedented times so my frustration was not due to wait.

The doctor never examined me. He didn’t touch me & took my word that I had a sinus infection. He did not look in my throat or check my ears. He already took COVID test that was negative before he came in room. I felt like he was afraid to exam me. Very distant! Check in was fast, assistants were nice & professional!

Virtual with Dr was outstanding. Person who answered phone wasn't as friendly and helpful. I'm concerned that seniors and those less familiar with electronic devices who need to see doctor and can't do virtually will be not seen. Dr and staff should have vaccines and a sinus infection wouldn't jeopardize your health. But I understand these are trying times

The doctor was patient and friendly, the wait time was not very long, and the video and audio clarity were great. She listened to my description of the problem and understood when I explained I have had the same issue several times in the past — sinus infection brought on by seasonal allergies. Great visit! Great staff!

I am so thankful for this virtual visit! I was turned away at three urgent care clinics, told to make an apt. 24 hours in advance. I literally booked this apt and saw someone within 30 mins. I’m picking up my prescription for my sinus infection shortly. So easy! Thank You!

Josh was great and informative. Even though I have had sinus issues like this before I appreciate his explanation of why I should follow up w my PCP and what can happen if this doesn’t resolve. He was thorough but efficient. Also love this option for virtual visit. Very convenient

The provider was able to prescribe to me virtually the medication that I needed in three minutes. I had to wait to see a doctor for almost 36 hours because everyone was afraid I had COVID. I have a freaking sinus infection!

It was so good I love the girls there all the doctors are great they have helped my daughter so many times and I urgently needed antibiotics for a painful sinus infection and they helped me in minutes I’m so greatful

After being fully vaccinated I tested positive for Covid. Really suffering with sinus congestion. She offered me some prescription and over the counter relief. Could not have been more pleasant. So kind to have the visit done from comfort of home.
