My experience over at the facility was pretty great! I was almost in and out of there. Staff was friendly , and everything went pretty smooth. I was justa bit concerned that the receptionist I believe she was said my results out loud . Although I got a negative result it still felt like it should have not been disclosed! Other then that it went pretty awesome! Thanks

April 3, 2021: California health officials announced changes Friday that will allow a resumption of indoor activities such as concerts, conferences and theater performances — and a return of fans to indoor sporting events, subject to the approval of local health authorities, who are permitted in each county to impose stricter regulations than the state allows. The new rules will take effect April 15.

Where can I get COVID-19 testing in Los Angeles

Testing for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is still limited in many areas throughout the country, including Los Angeles. Generally speaking, area hospitals, Los Angeles urgent care centers and some retail clinics—as well as community-based organizations and cities—are offering COVID testing. Some testing sites are allowing walk-in patients, however, most are requiring some degree of pre-screening, as well as booking an appointment online to prioritize need and control patient volume. Solv is actively maintaining a directory of  Los Angeles COVID testing locations for easy reference."

Where can I get an antibody test in Los Angeles?

Antibody tests for COVID-19 are available through healthcare providers and laboratories, but may be limited or only available for pre-screen patients meeting certain criteria. Most hospitals, urgent care centers, retail clinics, and other providers are offering the tests, but it is important to check with specific providers to understand their testing protocols and qualifications. Solv is actively maintaining a directory of  Los Angeles COVID testing locations for easy reference.

How can I book a COVID-19 test online in Los Angeles?

Same-day and next day appointments for COVID testing in Los Angeles are bookable directly through Solv. Simply browse the list of healthcare providers conducting COVID and antibody tests above, find one with a “Book Online” button, and book a time that aligns with your schedule stating “COVID-19 Test” as your reason for visit.

  • image/svg+xml image/svg+xml

Can I get tested for antibodies if I am sick with COVID-19?

An antibody test for COVID-19 might inform you if you previously had a coronavirus infection. Because it can take between 1–3 weeks after an infection for your body to develop these antibodies, an antibody test during an active infection would not be successful. To see if you are currently infected, you need a viral test.

  • image/svg+xml image/svg+xml

Who should be tested for the coronavirus?

While decisions about who should be tested for COVID-19 infections are being made by state and local health departments or healthcare providers, the CDC has developed national guidance to support these decisions. It is important to note, however, that not everyone needs to be tested for COVID-19. Prior to booking a COVID or antibody test on Solv or visiting a Los Angeles COVID testing site, it is best to contact the provider for the latest testing protocols.

  • image/svg+xml image/svg+xml

How much do a COVID-19 and antibody tests cost?

In most cases, COVID-19 testing and antibody testing is available at no out of pocket cost if you are covered by commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. You will likely have to pay a normal office visit copay, however. For cash paying patients, the two largest labs have reported that the Medicare rates (likely the lowest cost) to process an antibody test is around $50 and $100-$200 for a PCR swab test. It is important to understand that many healthcare providers are requiring screenings prior to testing, which may or may not be covered by your insurance, and may or may not require additional copays.
