Clearly this NP isnโ€™t well trained. She swabbed me for flu and covid when I have ZERO symptoms of either and I see on my discharge it states I was exposed which I clearly told her I was not exposed so thatโ€™s documentation fraud. Her only answer was to go to the ER. Offered nausea injection initially but then told me it was 15 mins too early because I took a dose earlier. FIFTEEN mins early?? ย So I left with ZERO answers or treatment and unnecessary tests done. Iโ€™m a RN. I will never return here and she needs more education.

Made appt and waited about an hour after that time to be seen. NP did not seem interested in prescribing meds for my kids who were coughing up brown phlegm and have had audible bubbling/crackling when they lie down. I askedโ€”am I confused? Is coughing up brown not an indicator that they need antibiotics? She confirmed that it is, but not in their case because โ€œtheyโ€™ve been coughing for so long.โ€ Make it make sense. Staff super friendly and efficient. Will not go back because of quality of medical care.

This is my favorite urgent care. ย They are so efficient and very caring about your concerns. ย I appreciate them all very much. ย I had a very bad experience at a Banner urgent care a couple of months ago when I was badly hurt from a fall. ย They were very rude to me, both nurse and doctor. ย I will always go to Gateway. ย Thank you.

Everyone was nice, however just a regular 5 min verification that I have the flu and they give me the standard thing prescription.I walk out of there.Having to pay three hundred dollars even with insurance. I was told it was because they're a fever service and that's what they charge. Why couldn't they tell me how much it was gonna be before I walked in to see the doctor? I would have declined to go in. That's a lot of money when I already pay a lot of money for insurance out of my wife's paycheck. Thoroughly disappointed not knowing before i'm treated. Granted, I was warned there might be more than seventy five dollars for the copay, but I had no clue that they would want another two hundred and thirty bucks after I paid the seventy something. It sucks being sick and then being taken advantage of on top of that, just really sucks as well.

Able to schedule an appointment online ย with ease. Check-in was made easy by filling out forms ahead of appointment. Waited for 20 min after scheduled appointment time but that is understandable and also made clear when scheduling that itโ€™s an โ€œestimatedโ€ time. PA immediately focused on my symptoms, prescribed necessary medications and answered all of my questions. All the staff were courteous and competent. I will not hesitate to return if I need urgent care in the future.

About Pregnancy Tests

A pregnancy test helps you confirm whether youโ€™re pregnant. Many signs and symptoms of pregnancy overlap with other health and medical conditions, but getting a pregnancy test can reveal whether conception is the reason for your symptoms. A missed menstrual period is usually the primary sign of pregnancy, but other causes of a missed period include diabetes, drug abuse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and oral contraceptives.

Determining whether youโ€™re pregnant is crucial to the health of your unborn baby, as you need to take extra precautions to make sure you and your baby are safe. For example, spending time in environments where you inhale cigarette smoke or toxic fumes is harmful to your fetus, and medications such as opioids carry serious risks for mothers and their unborn children.

Common signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, headaches, increased urination, mood swings, food cravings, and light spotting. If you experience these symptoms regularly, you might be pregnant and can benefit from taking a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Test FAQs

  • Can I get a free pregnancy test in Phoenix?

If you don't have health insurance or don't have access to a doctor, a community health clinic or a Planned Parenthood health center may be able to provide you with a free or low-cost pregnancy test. If you do have insurance, many commercial plans will fully cover the cost of a pregnancy test at an in-network provider including primary care doctors, medical laboratories, and both retail clinics and urgent care centers.

  • Where can I get a pregnancy test in Phoenix?

In general, pregnancy tests will be available at Phoenix-area urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and medical laboratories. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you determine whether or not you are pregnant as soon as possible.

  • How soon can I test for pregnancy?

For the best accurate result, wait until the week following your missed menstruation to take a pregnancy test. If you don't want to wait until your period has skipped, wait at least one to two weeks after you've had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG.

  • How much does a pregnancy test cost in Phoenix?

If you are uninsured, blood tests and urine tests in-clinic can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. This price doesnโ€™t include the doctorโ€™s consultation. Search for general practitioners and womenโ€™s health specialists to get a better idea of the cost in the Phoenix-area today.
