the office personnel are very nice and knowledgeable. the wait wasn't bad, depending on number of patients. I have been several times and if they think you need the hospital, they let you know. Their care was great!! They are usually busy, so I know there will be a wait. We depend on our Med access here in Roxboro.

This clinic has an overall phenomenal atmosphere. The front desk staff are extremely professional and friendly and the providers are extremely dedicated to what they do. I also enjoy that they have extended walk-in hours, which many clinics in Hillsborough do not have. I feel privileged to come to Orange Family!

Short Wait Time

I usually hate having to go to the clinic and decided to try this new place. Amazing experience surprisingly! Filled in all my info when I booked my appointment online. So no paperwork work upon arrival, just checked in on a tablet. Waiting room was so cozy and lovely and got to see Paul who had such a great bedside manner. Was so quick, pleasant and seamless

Been going here for 25 years and I have a primary that I see. Rarely have I had to see someone other than my primary. Betty haswell is excellent and up on the latest research. Katrina just came back part time and also is excellent. I love this place. I would recommend it to everyone and have sent several people here. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

This clinic is rated highly in reviews for their friendly staff

Friendly Staff

This is my new favorite place to get care without bothering my specialists unnecessarily. I saw Chad Tiller, PA and he handled my problem with competency and professionalism. Wait time a bit slow (had online appointment) which they texted me would be late by 40 minutes but my phone wasn't charged. My bad. Over all a great new experience.

While the wait was over an hour, the help was excellent. Dr. Megan Fleming and RN Yuka were terrific in caring for me husband, elderly citizen with MS and current problem of bleeding.

  • Who should get a typhoid vaccine?

Anyone two weeks and older with plans to travel to or live in an area that's at high risk for typhoid, such as South Asia, Latin America and Africa, should receive a typhoid vaccine. If you are planning on traveling from Roxboro out-of-country, a typhoid vaccine will be required for entry. You must be vaccinated by injection at least fourteen days before your departure date, or finish your oral vaccination regimen at least a week before your trip.

  • Are video visits available with travel vaccination specialists in Roxboro?

While a typhoid vaccine cannot be administered over video, your doctor can evaluate and advise you or your child from your home in Roxboro. They can discuss your travel plans, recommend and order necessary vaccinations, and book immunization appointments via telemedicine.

  • How much does a typhoid vaccine cost in Roxboro?

Without insurance, a consultation, service fee and the typhoid vaccine doses will typically range from $85 to $300. With preventative insurance, you will end up paying the copay for a consultation and vaccine administration, ranging from $10 to $40. Costs will vary by clinic - book a consultation at a Roxboro-area clinic to see how much a typhoid vaccine would cost for you.

  • Is a typhoid vaccine covered by my insurance?

As typhoid vaccines are considered elective, it’s not uncommon that insurance will not cover the cost of the vaccine. However, if your plan includes preventative benefits, the vaccine will usually be covered and you may only need to cover the co-pay out-of-pocket.

  • Are video visits with travel vaccination specialists covered by my insurance?

Telemedicine vaccine consultation coverage will vary depending on your circumstances. Typically, if your insurance will not cover an in-person visit, it won’t cover similar appointments via telehealth. Since the typhoid vaccine is considered elective and in-person visits are not usually covered by medical insurance, it is unlikely video visits with travel vaccination specialists will be covered.
