The MA or nurse (not sure) who did my covid test was incredible and super friendly. Working in healthcare I see a lot of people get stuck in the rut of patient after patient, but she was so upbeat and happy and made me have such a comfortable experience. The male NP who came in was equally as amazing. Not having the covid vaccine has made me feel a bit judged in other medical settings (I’ve had covid and have a high antibody count) but I felt no judgement from this NP. He explained things in the best manner and made me feel completely at ease. A true healthcare professional! So happy with this visit!

Amazingly great experience. I had heard lots of horror stories about other vaccination providers about delays, cancellations, poor service, etc. None of that happened at the Swedish vaccination site. Just the opposite! I’m not a regular patient of theirs, so I didn’t know what to expect. It was difficult getting an appointment for my first dose of the Covid vaccine with any facility. I’m classified as 1B-Tier 1. Like everyone else, I had been trying to get an appointment for weeks. But once I got the appointment with Swedish it all went very quickly and efficiently. Here’s my experience: Swedish got a new vaccine shipment on Tuesday 2/2/21. I heard about it late that afternoon and was able to get on-line and schedule my first dose for Thursday evening at the Swedish vaccination site on the Seattle University campus. By the time I got my vaccination scheduled Tuesday night, all other time slots had been taken, so you have to act quickly. On Thursday I arrived about an hour early before my scheduled appointment. Volunteers were posted from the garage to the vaccination site to make sure no one got lost. Everyone was well distanced and masked. At the check-in desk I had to produce my proof of eligibility and photo ID. Though I was 30 minutes early they put me in line immediately (again masked and distanced) - there was no wait. Within 20 minutes after I parked in the garage I was already vaccinated with dose 1, and was scheduled for for my second dose. Everyone - the volunteers, doctors, nurses, and schedulers - were friendly, efficient, and focused on giving terrific service to those being vaccinated. It was a truly wonderful experience.

No one wants to have to get a COVID test, but coming to your facility has been fantastic. Your people are great, they’re knowledgeable, you have a GREAT set-up for managing testing. And equally important your results are reliable and timely. There people are great. Combined, this all makes it so easy and seamless. I can’t tell you how much we, as a family, have appreciated coming to this facility when we have to get tested. And I recommend it to others! As with the first vaccine dose today’s experience was just as awesome. Totally impressed with; • Upbeat happiness of volunteers • Organized like a “well oiled machine”!! • Extreme personableness of each individual I came in 6’ contact with-complete joy to be with these fine people! • There was an abundance of people to lead me every step of the way. Each of these people acted like caring family members. Kudos to all of you involved with the organization of the Covid vaccine events accommodating numerous volumes of people who may have had anxiety contemplating receiving their vaccine; thankfully, I held positive feelings throughout; but because of the wonderful caring personnel volunteering, hope everyone departed feeling great! I had a medical emergency as I cut my finger and it would not stop bleeding they immediately took me in assured me I would be ok snd I wasn’t leaving till I was ok The PA walked me thru evert aspect of what was being done always asked if I was ok and how I felt and even took off my bandages 20 min later to assure me the cut stopped bleeding. She gave me explicit directions snd how to follow up snd then gave me a tetanus booster and didn’t let me leave till I felt ok snd ensured there was no reaction.

I came for my 2nd covid vaccine and I don't feel like I got the full dose. When the nurse was done injecting it she moved the needle away and the vaccine was running down my arm. I asked her about it and she said it was ok, don't feel like it was ok when it was running down my arm, it should be in my arm. I really didn't have much soreness in my arm which I had a lot with the first vaccine. I didn't think my concern was really addressed and I guess I will never know if I am protected with a partial dose.

I came in today for a covid antibody test per my employers request. The nurse who did my test was very nice and professional. However, when I saw Dr. Odell, I believe that’s his name, he was very rude and condescending towards me. I had explained to the nurse that I was still fearful of the covid vaccine but that I was still doing some research, which she encouraged me to do. As should anyone who plans on getting it. Dr. Odell seemed like he was almost pissed off at the fact that I was even there. He said a covid antibody test wasn’t going to tell us anything. I tried to explain to him that I hadn’t been exposed, but he cut me off saying it didn’t matter. I NEVER got the chance to express my concerns about the vaccine or to ask any questions. After his “visit” with me I over heard him in the hallway fussing with the nurse saying he didn’t understand why I was getting an antibody test. As I said before, it was per my employers request. No matter your stance on the vaccine, the way I was treated today was completely uncalled for. I AM NOT ANTIVAX!! I believe you should research anything you put into your body. That is my plan. At the end of the day I was doing what my employer had asked me to do. Dr. Odell’s bedside manner SUCKS and I’m tired of the covid vaccine bullies.

I have only had to use this facility maybe 4 times since moving here 14yrars ago. Thank goodness I wasn't sick very often and you could call your family doctor to get an appointment. Well those days are gone. I was scheduled to go to yulee late afternoon for my covid vaccine but had had a terrible headache, diarrhea, but no fever. Kept calling the Millennium group to ask if I could still get my vaccine and I didn't hear back until after my time for shot. When they finally called back they said to go to urgent care on 8th street so I called and got an appointment for 5:15 which was marvelous. It was just like I remembered, wonderful doctor, extremely clean. And front office girls were extremely friendly. I missed out on getting my vaccine but I got tested for covid and it was negative thank goodness. I will definitely return to this facility.

Drive-up covid vaccination booster shot with appointment went super smooth. Very easy to make, punctual, easy to follow instructions, all forms and such done via text beforehand. Check-in was simple, received prompts via text the day of and just prior to appointment which made everything pretty much foolproof and simple. Fast, clear, friendly, easy, and professional. I would truly rate the experience as a solid five stars across the board, never had to leave car and am just finishing up a precautionary 15 minute observation period in the upper parking lot while my co-pilot and I decide what we want to do for lunch. I went to the Glendora, CA Urgent Care location on 5/14/21 at approx. 6:00 pm for relief from severe itching, sneezing & other debilitating symptoms caused by my seasonal allergies. I was greeted by the woman seated at the front desk immediately & brought into an exam room as soon as I checked in, since there were no other patients in the waiting area at the time I arrived, which I was very grateful for. All of the staff & I were wearing masks for Covid safety, which I also appreciated. The woman at the front desk was polite & efficient. The man (nurse?) who greeted me, weighed me & gave me an injection was friendly & kind, & even seemed to remember me from my last visit to this office in February with the same symptoms. Even though he was polite & totally professional, it was very embarrassing for me to have a young man weigh me & give me an injection in my bottom. I guess I'm old-fasioned & very shy, because I would have preferred a woman nurse, at least to give me the shot, or to be asked if I had a preference, or had a woman present in the room when he injected me. When he took my blood pressure, the sleeve was very tight on my arm & hurt quite a bit. He apologized for this. The PA I saw, Tallin Martirossian, was very kind, comforting & prompt. After my injection, she instructed me to wait 10 minutes before I left the office, which I did. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes later, when I went to the CVS store next door to fill my prescription, I had a very bad reaction to the shot I got (a steroid). I had excruciating pain on the site of the injection (very high on my bottom/lower back/hip) & up my back. I felt like I was going to vomit or faint. I had to find a chair in the store to sit down. I was in so much pain, that I had to call my husband to drive to CVS from our home, to walk with me back to the Urgent Care office to see the doctor again. It was a very scary & upsetting experience. I have never had such a bad reaction to an injection before, not even to the two Covid vaccine shots that I received in April. And I have received steroid shots for my severe allergy symptoms many times in my life, with no severe pain afterward. The PA & the male nurse/assistant were both concerned & caring when my husband & I returned to their office. They allowed me to lay down on the exam table in an exam room, asked relevant questions & offered me water. However, the PA did not explain what caused my severely painful reaction to the shot. I was in too much pain to ask questions. Thankfully, after about 30 minutes laying down in the exam room, my pain subsided & I was able to walk out of the office with my husband at about 7:30 pm, 90 minutes after I first walked in. In spite of my very painful & scary reaction to the injection I received, I would still return to this Urgent Care office, due to the staff's promptness (almost zero wait time!), kindness & attentiveness. I don't blame the staff for the pain I experienced, although I did wonder if the shot would have hurt as badly if the male nurse had injected me lower on my bottom. But I didn't pull my pants down very far due to my embarrassment & he seemed sensitive to this! One suggestion: when the assistant & PA/doctor first greet patients in the reception area, at the scale, & exam room, they should ALL INTRODUCE THEMSELVES & state their title/job. ("I'm Mike & I'm an EMT. I'm Susan & I'm a Physician's Assistant.") This should be a standard practice at ALL doctor's offices, especially Urgent Care clinics. It can be uncomfortable & scary being treated by a complete stranger. I also received a presciption at this appt., which I was grateful for. The PA seemed to have a record of my previous visit there, which I appreciated. So overall, I would rate my experience at this office a 3 out of 5 stars, or 7 out of 10! And I will go back there if necessary, even though I had such a painful reaction to the injection. I hope this long review is helpful to you in providing excellent service to all patients at your Urgent Care. They provide an important service to the Glendora community. Thank you!

I got a first Covid vaccine dose appointment online I had a question about when a second dose appointment would be made, so I made a phone call and had a pleasant experience with the person who answered the phone. then when I went and got my first shot there was virtually no waiting, I just pulled in to the short line, I followed the signs, pulled into the area, had a few people taking care of the tasks of identification and getting the vaccine ready. I got my shot and followed the signs around to the 15 minute waiting area. It is all very efficient and effective. I would recommend it to anyone.

We ate vaccinated, but frustrated that so many people refusing to get covid vaccine or weat masks. Getting covid Vax to protect others, children. I Would recommend this urgent care. I was so impressed with your staff and facility. Every one of your staff was very professional and kind. Your system is ready to serve the public from the outside the building with the signs & directions to the entrance. After you get in ti the building the each one of the public members was treated just like your own patient. Especially, after the COVID vaccine each public patient was guided to a very clean room with comfortable chair/recliner(?) and your staff goes to each patient explaining how to take care of yourself in case you feel discomfort. I saw Elisa Flores today for follow up on Covid. While she listened intently I realized she really cared about me as an individual. I was a person to her- not just a case. She spoke freely as she actually sat down and had a talk about my recovery and my concerns. She explained I need to wear a mask when I go out for my protection. I'm taking her advice seriously. She advised me to wait to get my flu shot and Covid booster until I feel better than I do today. One phrase she used rang in my head as I drove off,” Get the Covid booster if you believe in it”. No mandate. No negative input. She has me believing I will gradually feel better over the next few weeks. Then I will be getting my Covid booster. At the end of our visit, I complimented her on saying all the right things. She gave me a high five. I couldn't ask for a better ending to a two week quarentine!

Fast, credible (due to UW affiliation) & friendly. Ideally I'll receive my tests results the same today too, because they are so consequential. My son just tested positive & was with our family for Thanksgiving week so we're all on pins & needles now waiting for test results from each family member. We're all fully vaxxed, most have boosters and we all feel fine, so I think we'll be okay. Still, the only change I would request is receiving same day results but I know that's probably not realistic & I'm definitely not complaining. We're verrrry lucky to live in the same city as UW main campus & medical center for a multitude of reasons. (heart emoji!) Oh yes, thanks for being on super groovy Ballard Avenue too! It's much more fun than the emissions testing place on Aurora, but we're grateful for all testing places in Seattle! With Love, Pam PPS. I don't know what it cost. I thought these tests are supposed to be free? I did give my insurance card but haven't seen my medical statement yet. If I am charged, I hope it's very low cost.

In Seattle Cancer Care Alliance oncology & hemotology, my care team always gets five out of five stars, especially Dr Moore, Raylene, and Angie. I really want to draw attention to the cheerful and efficient scheduling and intake staff I get regularly: Sam, Francesca, and Roke. Francesca is always a breath of fresh air! So cheerful and engaged! I just adore her for brightening up what could be a gloomy occasion. I appreciate that so much! I also got a covid vaccine here today. Everyone involved was cheerful and efficient. All went well. When I entered the door of this state of the art facility, I was amazed with the cleanliness, proper seat arrangement to maintain social distancing, and some informative signs/notices posted in the building. I was impressed with the front desk personnel coz she was very polite and helpful as soon as I approached the counter at the reception area. She gave me instructions and advised me to wait while filling up information through the site she texted to my cellphone. After a few minutes, the nurse called my name, administered the COVID vaccine, gave me some important information regarding the said vaccination, and advised me to call back if there would be any problems. I didn't experience any side effects or any complications after receiving the two COVID vaccinations. I already started recommending Riverside Urgent Care to my family and friends. My 2nd covid shot was for 11:45 and I arrived at 11:20. Receptionist told me to wait inside they will be taking me soon even tho I preferred to wait in my car. By 12:45 they still didn’t call me I checked again with a heavy set blonde women and told her I would wait in my car and verified my cell phone number to call when they would take me. At (2:15) I went back in to see what was up and a lot of whispering behind the counter I was told to go back and they would give my 2nd covid vaccine. The patient next to me had an appointment for 12:30 and she was already in . So glad I got my 2nd vaccine at 2:15 stayed until 2:30 and was told by the nurse to just leave if no reactions.. which I did.. but very disappointed with your staff. This was totally different than my first visit.. I waited total 2hrs and 45 minutes I was leaving the secretary who was sitting on the right side facing the right window yells thanks for waiting!! Really.. on top of this .. a patient came in during this time to get a covid vaccine so I was exposed to this .. she was told to wait in the car just like we should have all done .. the secretary told me they are the ones to wait outside in car but everyone else stays in waiting room.. another elderly man said he isn’t waiting inside and said he would be in his car to text him.. This is not the same care I received the first time there.. By the way the secretary calls my phone after I was taken back.. (I guess to say we called you )

Staff is usually always wonderful, BUT this particular visit, we saw Ben, APRN. His bedside manner and demeanor was horrible once he knew my daughter had not yet had the Covid vaccine. The whole visit became about Covid and how she most likely has it. I truly felt she most likely had a sinus infection or a damn head cold - my main concern was if she could travel on a plane the next day. I worry about ear drums. He did not even look in her nose. Briefly looked in her ears and throat. Offered a written antibiotics but stated he didn’t feel it was necessary and again pushed Covid testing. I said can you get me results today so I can leave town tomorrow, and he said no, results take a few days. I am a Renown employee and am well educated on Covid and to be treated with such disregard by a physician was truly disappointing. Not everyone has Covid!!! Yes people who are and are not vaccinated can still get Covid but we can all still get just a damn head cold. I feel like my daughters visit was a waste of time and her care was less than acceptable! Truly disappointed in this physician and he does not represent “we care” very well for Renown. And for the record, I did take her home and give her 2 Covid tests - BOTH WERE NEGATIVE!

There was a mix up with my Covid vaccine. I signed up for moderna 4/7 12:42. I parked on the moderna side of arena. I went to check in for first dose. I was early. Shortly after as I was in line for shot got a text my appointment was cancelled. Went back and double checked they said I had two appointments. No sure but continued on. Ended up with Pfizer. When I went to check out they said another name came up. I couldn’t understand what they were saying due to accent and mask. Thought I was Jennifer Wilson. They had to make a new entry in system in order schedule my 2nd dose. Have no idea what information made it look like I was another person.

About COVID Vaccine

There are currently 3 COVID vaccine available in Orlando and throughout the country: Pfizer-BioNTech (mRNA), Moderna (mRNA Vaccines), and Johnson & Johnson (Vector vaccine). As of April 7, 2021, three vaccines, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna, have been approved for use via an emergency use authorization (EAU) for adults ages 16 and older. Pfizer has since received EUA for 5-11 year olds, opening the door for everyone in the country 5 years and older to receiving a COVID vaccine.

Getting a COVID vaccine will be similar to the process of getting any other type of vaccine. Patients should talk to their doctors about whether they have allergies and if they have ever experienced a reaction or specific side effects from a vaccine in the past. They should also inform their doctors whether they are currently ill, pregnant, or planning to become pregnant.

The injection itself usually only takes a few seconds and may feel like a slight pinch on the skin. Most people do not experience serious side effects from vaccines, and any side effects they do experience are usually mild. Chills, low-grade fever, headache, tiredness, and muscle and joint aches are the most common side effects of vaccines.

People who get a mRNA COVID vaccine will need another booster shot roughly 3-4 weeks after the first shot to stay protected from COVID-19, while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine only requires one shot. It is not yet known how long immunity to COVID-19 will last after receiving a COVID vaccine.

  • Where can I get COVID vaccine in Sidney?

    The COVID vaccine is currently available to eligible individuals through health clinics, hospitals, health departments, pharmacies, and doctors’ offices including urgent care centers.
