Covid-19 vaccines are now commercialized meaning that those who have private insurance can go to their primary care doctor or pharmacy to get a free vaccine. East Orange Health Department will continue to provide free vaccines for those who do not have insurance or are under-insured. You are eligible to receive a free Covid-19 vaccine at EOHD if you meet the following requirements: Children 5 years- 19 years who have no insurance OR are insured with Medicaid part A. Adults 19 years and older who are uninsured only. If your insurance does not pay for the vaccine, please give us a call to verify eligibility.

12+2-dose vaccine. Boosters available for ages 5+ and it's been at least 5 months since completing primary series. Second booster available for ages 50+ and it's been at least 4 months since your first booster.
