Injured my finger ( smashed between two rocks while landscaping my garden). It was extremely painful and looked very badly bruised. Went to this urgent care because they had an xray technician. No other patients were there, but i still had to wait quite awhile before being seen. I did have an xray and it was indeed broken. Glad I went to there and found out. Wait time seemed way too long considering they were empty. Care was decent from nurse.

Solon Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but the infection is more common in some groups. Women under the age of 25 or those with risk factors such as a new sex partner, multiple sex partners, a sex partner who has an STD, or inconsistent condom use should get tested annually. Men who have sex with men should also get tested annually, and more frequently if they have multiple or anonymous partners, have sex in conjunction with illicit drug use, or have partners who participate in these activities.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often asymptomatic, meaning many people don't know they have it. However, if left untreated, it can lead to serious health problems, especially for women. These can include pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, and infertility. In men, chlamydia can cause urethral infection and complications such as reactive arthritis. Regular testing is important to ensure early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for chlamydia are also available. These kits can be ordered online, used at home, and then sent to a lab for testing. Results are typically available within a few days. This can be a convenient and private option for those who prefer it.

These include being sexually active, having multiple sexual partners, not using condoms consistently or correctly, and being a young person aged 15-24 years.
