Getting Tested for STDs in Russellville, AR

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are not consistently using protection during sexual activity, or are experiencing symptoms of an STD. It's also crucial for pregnant women to get tested, as untreated STDs can have serious health impacts for both the mother and baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining your overall health. Many STDs do not show symptoms, so regular testing is the only way to know for sure if you have one. Early detection can prevent long-term health complications, such as infertility, cancer, and organ damage. Additionally, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of STDs to others.
