Friendly Staff

I have gone to Mohave Walk-in Care many times either for myself or for my family. I certainly don't agree with the 2.1 rating. I have been impressed every time I have gone there. I have seen a couple different doctors or nurse practitioners there but they, along with their staff have always gone out given us all the time we need and make sure to answer any questions we may have. And having your current medical records at their fingertips makes it all so more convenient. Absolutely 4 1/2 - 5 STARS

Dr and staff were great. There was a rude patient that came in without a mask, coughing and saying she needed a covid test. Staff asked her to put a mask on, which she did but took it off to have several very loud conversations. Phones should be off and conversations should be taken outside. There needs to be a sign stating that. I know it's touchy but staff should have told her to mask up and take conversations outside. Other than her we are happy with their service

Sonora Quest Laboratories - 1751 AZ-95
I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Fort Mohave Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. It is particularly prevalent among young people aged 15-24 years. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all sexually active women under the age of 25, as well as older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, should be tested for chlamydia annually. Men who have sex with men should also be tested annually. Furthermore, anyone who has unprotected sex, has a new partner, or has multiple partners should consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a "silent" infection because most people who have it don't show symptoms, according to the CDC. If left untreated, it can cause serious health complications, including pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can lead to infertility. Getting tested is the only sure way to know if you have chlamydia. Early detection and treatment can prevent these complications.
