I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

The experience was painless organized and quick from registration to going through the drive thru for testing. The expetienced staff immediately made you relax and were so friendly. The test itself was so easy and quick as the staff talked you thru it to keep you comfortable. I don’t think I have ever experienced it to be so simple and quick. I highly recimmend here to get your test done with the mandate in place.

It is the Saturday before the Christmas weekend and they got me in immediately and efficiently diagnosed my bronchitis, did chest x-rays to double check, gave me both an inhaled steroid treatment and a steroid shot. They were kind, thorough, and professional. I left feeling so much better than I did when I came i, and have a prescription to keep me on the path to recovery. The care I received could not have been better.

Tallahassee Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. However, certain groups are at a higher risk and should consider regular testing. This includes sexually active women under the age of 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use condoms. If you fall into any of these categories and live in or around Tallahassee, FL, it's crucial to get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a "silent" infection because most people who have it don't show any symptoms. This makes regular testing crucial to prevent complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women, which can lead to infertility, and epididymitis in men, which can cause pain and fever. Regular testing also helps prevent the spread of the infection to others. According to the CDC, chlamydia can be easily treated and cured with antibiotics once detected.

However, the rates are slightly lower than the national average, according to the CDC. It's important to note that these numbers only represent reported cases, and the actual number of infections may be higher due to underreporting.
