Highly Rated

The wait time took a little while which I'm used to I have grown up with and spent time having cancer and other issues with my body, I remember when a minimum wait at a Doctors office was 45 minutes to 2 hours. Be patient, and have empathy for your fellow patients. We all need help or we would not be their. A bad attitude impacts all of us. The doctor is attentive and willing to help you and work with you and the staff there does what they can with the time allotted to them if it takes a little while to get checked in and seen that is just the way it is. If that does not work for you then you obviously aren't in need. Have patience, because you will be helped. There are a lot of people in this world and fortunately these people are very helpful. You would not have been scheduled if they could not see you. Doctor Bullfinch is my doctor and he has been extremely helpful and help change the quality of my life for the better thank you so much.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I was very much impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of each and every person I talk to and I love the way that they made sure I was well informed during the whole process!! It was my first covid test that I needed for employment!! The drive up option is truly a huge convenience!! I would highly recommend to anyone interested in getting a test or the vaccine!!

- Verified patient on 5/1

It was much easier & quicker than I imagined. All of the staff was very friendly with one exception, the gal that gave instructions on how to do the test went through it way to fast & I had to have her repeat the process. It made me feel like she was more concerned about getting me through quickly than she was about me. I guess I would have understood that if it had been busy. But there wasn't even one car behind me!

I would recommend this site Everything for my husband & I process a 5 star. But appt were made ahead of time. And we signed up for the Solv app. Also we are using IPhones which make it nice to get our results ASAP . If you have you QR code ( which is given at the time of testing) . A Plus on turn around for results. Great Team efforts from this facility & Solv App PS if you have missed placed your QR code you can call *** Seattle, WA Excellent Excellent service on helping locate your QR code But remember they are assisting You cuz You don’t have or lost Your Instructions, It may take them appx 10 to 15 minutes from beginning to end. Be kind to our informers (the messages)

The process was smooth. I am disable (walk with crutches). When the young man saw me getting out of my car, he hurried over to me and told me I could be tested in my car. He checked me in and I had a short wait for the tester to come to my car. He explained the procedure clearly. I swabbed and was done. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. I was impressed. Thank you 😊

My daughter made an appointment on line and when we arrived at the testing station we got in the line for appointments and had a whole four minute await and the person taking our information was very polite and friendly. We went to the testing area and again the individual was informative and good in giving instructions on the test procedure. Was a pleasant experience and I appreciate the help you provided to get tested. Thank you

I have been to the county testing site several times & every time has been super quick & easy, with professional, kind & educational staff. Thank you!!!! My only concern now is that it's been moved to YVC, instead of the fairgrounds. It seems smaller & more likely to spread the virus when people are asked to get out of their car & stand in line. Not to mention the sun & heat, standing in the open this afternoon. I chose to stay in my car & get tested that way. I would BEG you to reinstate this method of allowing people to stay in their cars, especially now when our COVID numbers are sky rocketing & Delta is so much more contagious. I don't understand why this recent change in location & method was implemented but it seems very dangerous & misguided. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!

This may have been the most efficient medically-related visit that I have ever had. Well-organized, clear instructions for appointment registration online and appt. time, courteous and cheerful morning staff, fast, easy, painless, efficient. Those who are too scared, stubborn or selfish not to be vaccinated and then not to get tested when they feel ill, should know how easy you make it. I was fortunate to receive my immunizations last Jan/Feb, and felt such a sense of relief afterwards. But this Delta variant is frightening, and yet if I have been exposed to it and test positive, at least I have some prior protection. That makes such a difference to those of us who are immune-suppressed for various reasons. I so appreciate all that you are doing to help our Yakima County at this crazy time. Thank you, all.

made my appointment for 3:45. I pulled up 3 minutes late and there were literally no cars in front of me. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. That has not been my experience every time, but my weight is never long and the quality of care and kindness is great. Best place to test in Yakima in my opinion

We pulled in without an appointment at 1pm on Saturday. We were instructed to go in the line to the left. We pulled out after testing 37 minutes later - easy wait! The staff explained it was slow Friday and Saturday, so as they need to tell us our results will be back in 3-5 days, they said to use the QR scan code as soon as 24 hours to get results sooner. We got ours at hour 30 post-test!!! That’s amazing turn around and thankful as one of us was positive and knew not to go to work Monday morning.

I had an appointment scheduled for 1:00 pm. I drove up to the gate at 12:52. I was greeted nicely and given information. I then drove over to the testing site and got in line. when it was my turn, the asked me a few questions and gave me directions for the self test. The person was right by me to galp me through the process. After I did the self test. I was given directiobs on hiw to exit. the parson told me goodbye and have a nice day. I exited the testing area on my way home at 1:07 pm.

I have come here multiple times due to a lot of my family members having to be tested. Every time I have come it has been a positive experience. I am so great full to have people like this working hard in the sun, wind and snow and helping our community because we need it. They are sheroes and heroes, absolutely no doubts

I am so thankful that we have had the terrific testing facilities for Covid here in Yakima at the free testing sites of the fairgrounds and now the college! Everyone has been professional, the facility has been thoughtfully set up with minimal or no wait time as I had appointments, and the results system is amazing! I have coordinated mass health screenings and know the details that are involved and so have a special appreciation for all of your efforts! Thank you all for working during this time and helping to keep our community safe!

Meghan was amazing! She went above and beyond to answer our questions and help us out. She thought outside of the box to help us. She was amazing! We had tried to get a family appointment and weren’t able to so we had to schedule separately. She worked with us to help us be able to test at the same time and never told us no. She is amazing at customer service.

I got to the testing site just before it closed down. They didn’t make me feel bad about having to pull some of their supplies back out. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I was so surprised when they offered to send me home with cleaning supplies and a box of food. That really took the stress away from having to go to store to get what my family needs as we safely quarantine and wait for our test results.

I signed up for 1pm, was told to come ten minutes earlier. I arrived early (about 12:30) because I wanted to make sure I could find the site. I had no wait time, and the test was completed in less time than it takes to fill up a tank of gas. I frankly wonder why I was dreading going there all last night. Good job, staff.

I did my appt online and was able to get a appointment time the same day. The wait wasn't long at all and every person working there was so friendly and considerate. The test was fast and not painful at all. Even when I swabbed my nose, he counted and told me to switch nostrils. He also explained how to get the test results in simple terms. I would diffently recommend the testing at the yakima fairgrounds on Fair Ave.

- Verified patient on 1/13

It was my first time getting tested, I had a passenger in my car who had been tested before and reassured me I was going to be pleased with how much more different the test is than how it was in the beginning of the pandemic. I found the whole process to be smooth and easy, worry and stress free. The swab probing procedure was painless, the only thing I was concern about. Thank you for your services.

- Verified patient on 2/27

I needed testing to cross into Canada. I was worried that I wouldn’t get the results in time because there is a 72 hour window. I drove to familiarize myself where the testing site was and went online to try and schedule an appointment for the next day. What with reading and having to agree to the terms of a legal form before I could finish the registration process, and fearing I would be stuck in some contract for some service I didn’t even want or need, I ended up calling the number that it gave and reached someone immediately. (This was a delightful shock I want to add nowadays.). I was told that I could come in as a walk-in and it would only take a few minutes. I did just that and there was no wait at all. I was asked just for my name, phone number (needed to be able to get my results) and my address. I performed the simple test myself and was on my way with my form which explained everything and gave instructions for getting my results in about 5 minutes. Literally pain free. I’m thinking of going back again tomorrow. Lol, that last bit is just a joke. Kudo’s to the staff and anybody who was involved in coordinating and setting this up.

With the self swab it is unclear how far to put in the swab. For an adult it might be ok but for a kid (7) I feel like it may not have been far enough. I probably should have done it for her. I had expected the provider to do it for her. In any case we’ll continue isolating and may get another test later in the week.

I was on a short trip and started feeling bad, mild-headache, chills and throwing up. I remembered seeing that Yakima had a testing site. The access, the results within 24 hours helped alot. I did what I could to quarantine until I saw my results on-line. Negative- yippie! Big thank you to the site, testing lab and state for making this happen. Awesome!!

Yakima Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
