Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

Oak Park Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but it's particularly common in young people aged 15-24 years. It's recommended that sexually active women under 25, as well as older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, get tested annually. Men who have sex with men should also be tested annually, or more frequently depending on their risk factors.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a "silent" infection because most people who have it don't show symptoms. However, if left untreated, it can cause serious health problems, particularly for women, including pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility. Regular testing is crucial for early detection and treatment, reducing these risks.
