Had a flareup of gout which I have had before. Went to clinic near Bee's Ferry Road. Check was fast and easy and the wait time was not too long consider that there were a lot of others there in a Monday morning. All staff were friendly and took ample time with me. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable about my condition and prescribed correct medication. Am very happy with your service

Urgent care
This morning went smooth. Once I checked in, I only had to wait for about 15 minutes before I was seen. Then after the nurse showed me the room and took my vitals, the doctor came in less than 5 minutes. It was probably the quickest I’ve been seen. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet. It was an amazing experience/visit.

I was sick with very sore throat for a few days and tired. Walked in Saturday morning for a check up. Had COVID end of September and tested Negative October 7.  The staff checked me for COVID and strep throat - both negative.  After my lungs were checked, was prescribed an antibiotic to clear up pneumonia in my right lung. Don’t remember the names of the staff but they were efficient and cared for my well being.  I would recommend this provider.

Brought in son for an ear ache. We pre scheduled online which was great. I don’t love the QR code at check in. It feels impersonal. But staff is great!

Almost no wAit time. Nurse was very nice as was the receptionist. Dr. Cooper really listened to me and tried to solve my problem with my sinuses and eyes. He graciously referred me to a Roper ENT, but is treating me until I can get an appointment. Thank you all so much! I have been treated so professionally and I can go there knowing that I will be treated with respect and kindness.

I was a walk-in so the wait time was to be expected. But after I got back there they were quick at assessing me and getting me out and sent home to rest.

I took my elderly mother in for a Covid test on Monday night December 7th about 7:00 pm. We were treated cordially from the receptionist from the moment we walked in the door. The nurse who performed the test was gentle and explained the procedure to my mother. In addition, the doctor was concerned and asked my mother all the appropriate questions. There is no doubt I will use this facility in the future and recommend it to my friends, too. Great experience!

Urgent care
I had brought my fiance there today, all day it had to be his birthday and he was already unhappy. The wait was a bit lond and so was the wait for the dr,Dr G Jones. When she cam in with her assistant, things changed because of the kind caring soul she is. He went for one thing and it turn was helped with a few problems that he had,Dr G Jones was great as was her assistant, but to top it off a big guy came in the room and had to give him a couple of shots,he hates needle but " Vince Vaughn" did a great job too,i just said Vince because he looks like him. I dont believe the bad reviews people write on here, this was 2 times and they were great for us.. Love them and they are great providers for us ans the community in which they serve.

Urgent Care FAQs

  • What is urgent care?

Urgent care is a healthcare service focused on providing immediate, non-life-threatening medical attention. Urgent care centers treat conditions such as sprains, cuts, burns, and common illnesses and offer a range of services, including diagnostic and preventive care like immunizations and physicals. With an estimated 15,000 clinics in the U.S., urgent care centers operate beyond traditional primary care office hours, offering a convenient and lower cost alternative to emergency rooms for urgent but minor health issues.

  • What is a walk-in clinic?

A walk-in clinic is a type of healthcare facility that provides medical care to patients without the need for an appointment. These clinics cover a range of services such as urgent care, occupational medicine, and primary care with walk-in availability. They cater to non-emergent health issues, offering a convenient option for accessible medical attention. Walk-in clinics vary from free services provided by government, charity, or foundation-operated facilities to private clinics with affordable rates, serving as a practical alternative for minor illnesses and injuries outside of traditional doctor's offices and emergency rooms.

  • Do urgent care centers in Ravenel take appointments?

Historically, urgent care centers were strictly an on-demand, walk-in healthcare service. More recently, as consumer behaviors and expectations have evolved, many urgent care clinics have begun offering book ahead visits, allowing consumers to select a same-day or next-day time that works best for their schedule. Use Solv to find a Ravenel urgent care center that offers advanced bookings (or appointments) and book online.

  • Are Ravenel urgent care centers open after hours?

Yes. Most primary care doctor offices are open during routine work hours, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Conversely, most of the urgent care centers in Ravenel are available after hours, on weekends, and many holidays. Typical urgent care hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, although location-specific hours may vary.

  • How much will an urgent care visit in Ravenel cost?

The cost of a visit to an urgent care in Ravenel varies, with cash prices for the base visit generally ranging from $100 to $175. Additional treatments, such as lab tests, X-rays, or immunizations, can increase costs, typically between $50-150 each. If you're using insurance, expect a co-pay between $20 and $50, depending on your plan and whether the clinic is in-network. Prices differ based on location, so it's best to check directly with the urgent care center and your insurance provider for accurate cost estimates.
