I wouldn’t go get health care until Rhonda Leanne Holt and her staff. Heath care people are very abrasive and some even have made me feel just stupid for asking questions. Not these fine ladies. You can’t get better attention and care than what they provide.

Texas Quick Care , Center - 854 Hurst St
My family has been going to Texas Quick Care for years. We’ve been to most locations, but we frequent Center. Kayla Cowdin is amazing and really cares! She’s always in a great mood, she listens to everything intently, and she always takes care of anything going on with us whether it’s myself, my husband, or one of our 4 kids. Staff is always super friendly as well. There is usually a 30min to and hour wait time if you are a walk-in, but it’s just because they tend to be really busy. It’s not from laziness or slacking off, and it’s not always like that. We were seen within 10 mins today as a walk-in. The new check in system (using your phone) is awesome and very convenient. It seemed to really expedite things. You can see how long you have to wait, who all is in front of you, etc. I can’t say enough good things about Kayla and the Texas Quick Care system as a whole.

I had an on the job injury and had to be seen at Urgent DOC. It wasn’t my choice but my facility choice. I’m so glad they sent me there. As a nurse myself, I tend to be overly critical of care received. There wasn’t a thing I could be critical of. The staff were so professional and friendly. They really made me feel welcomed and as a special person. I was seen quickly, sutured by a highly qualified person (Nurse Practitioner) and given detailed instructions on aftercare. I recommend this place to anyone for any care needed! Thank you to all the staff there!

Getting Tested for STDs in Nacogdoches, TX

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are not consistently using protection, or are experiencing symptoms of an STD. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk and should get tested regularly. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both your own health and the health of your sexual partners. Many STDs can have serious long-term health consequences if left untreated, including infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Additionally, many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms. Regular testing is the only way to know for sure if you have an STD.
