Elite Urgent Care - 1524 McHenry Ave
I came in feeling really dizzy and naseaus. The doctor is always so helpful. The wait was a little longer than usual but there were a lot of sick people there so it's understandable. It's still the only urgent care I'll go to.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to certain risk factors should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, had sexual contact with a person infected with hepatitis, or have traveled to countries with high hepatitis infection rates. Additionally, people with certain medical conditions, including HIV, should also be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making early detection essential for effective treatment. Secondly, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others. Lastly, untreated hepatitis can lead to serious health complications, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.
