I needed to have wax removed from my ear. They told me what they were going to do before they started and I appreciated that. Before each procedure they did the same. It took about an hour because they were so careful...I am ninety-one. The place was very clean. Eric and Alyssa were so kind and gentle. I won't even hesitate going again.

We went to get our Rapid COVID test. There was a long line of people but we were seen in less than 30 minutes. Very friendly and we only had to wait 10 minutes for results. Highly recommended. Great staff, fun, and friendly people.

I had such a pleasant experience at this urgent care on Camelback road. I honestly hate going to any doctor or urgent care, but I needed a Covid test because I was having symptoms. Everyone from the front desk staff, medical assistants, and the PA were wonderful. I really wish I knew the PAs name because I’d name her on this review. Everyone was so nice, thorough, professional and helpful. It was easy to register and to check out. It was a great experience and I would definitely come back…Thank you everyone for continuing to serve on the front lines during Covid 19 and putting your own health on the line to help all of us who are sick and in need of care. I wish you the best during the holidays and pray for continued good health…

My PAC and her staff were great. My nurse took care of me swiftly. Helped me with my test. And did it with respect and care. My PAC got me the care I didn't even know I needed. She was amazing. Honest. And treated me like a human being. The whole thing took about a half hour. And they got my meds filled fast. Highly recommend.

Was very pleased with my visit. Was able to make appt online within the hour of looking for an appt. No waiting and people were very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist, to the person that took the test and the Dr. Thank you

Lab Tests FAQs

  • Where should I get a lab test in Phoenix?

Doctors commonly order lab tests and can refer you to one or more reputable lab test centers in your area. Tests can be performed in Phoenix hospitals, urgent care centers, and walk-in clinics that specialize in lab testing. Your healthcare practitioner can supply you with a list of lab test providers, or you can use Solv to see what's available in your area.

  • How much do lab tests cost?

The cost of a lab test is determined by several factors, including the type of test, your location, whether you have insurance, and the fees charged by the lab test provider. Many health insurance providers will cover the cost of lab testing in part or in full. Those who do not have insurance, on the other hand, will almost certainly face higher costs. Contact lab test providers directly to confirm the cost of your lab test based on your health insurance benefits. • Does insurance cover lab testing?

The easiest way to find out if your health plan covers lab testing is to contact your insurance carrier directly or ask the lab test provider to check your insurance benefits and verify price. Many health insurance plans will cover lab tests that your doctor determines are medically necessary for your illness. • How long does it take to get lab test results in Phoenix?

Lab test results may be available in minutes, hours, days, or weeks, depending on the type of test performed, lab staff productivity, and your doctor's availability. Some lab test providers let you see your results as soon as they're available online, while others need you to wait for your doctor's answer. Your doctor or the lab provider can give you a more accurate estimate of when your lab test results will arrive.

  • What is a routine lab test?

A basic lab test may evaluate your red and white blood cell counts to discover if you have anemia, a blood infection, or blood cancer. It may also test fat levels in your blood to determine your risk of heart disease and examine the health of your organs, such as your heart, kidneys, and liver. Your healthcare provider will be able to explain what a typical lab test entails.

  • What STDs can be detected by a blood test?

A blood test can identify STDs such as syphilis, HIV, hepatitis C, and herpes. Your doctor may order that blood be collected and submitted to a lab, or that you undergo STD testing at a lab test provider. STD test results might arrive in minutes, days, or weeks, depending on the lab test company you work with.

  • Do I need to see a doctor before getting a lab test?

Before performing specific tests, some lab test providers require a doctor's referral, while others do not. The benefit of seeing a doctor before getting a lab test is that you can assess whether or not you need one based on your symptoms and a physical examination. A doctor can also help you decide which tests are necessary.

  • How can I book a lab test on Solv?

On our home page, please specify the type of lab service you desire, as well as your location and state. Solv will give you with a list of lab test providers in your area, as well as their contact information, so you can make an appointment right immediately.

  • How long does getting a lab test take?

The majority of lab tests are completed in a matter of minutes, but certain providers may have extensive wait times that require you to spend up to an hour in the lab. To limit the amount of time you spend waiting for your lab test, schedule an appointment with Solv ahead of time.

  • Should I try at-home lab testing?

Privacy, convenience, and accuracy are all advantages of at-home lab testing. Some at-home lab testing services, however, may not be covered by your health insurance plan. Some healthcare practitioners may seek additional lab tests to corroborate their diagnosis of specific health concerns. Walk-in for Covid test. On advice of staff, got there an hour b/f clinic opened. Was 3rd in line, got in, had Rapid Test, got results in 15 minutes, and out - total about 1 hour. Staff was very professional and nice, and clearly working hard. There were 15-20 people in line when I left, so glad I went early.

- Verified patient on 1/8

This was a great experience. The ladies that did my test were very nice, very efficient, very reassuring, and lovely people. Did the pcr test on myself and my 2 friends that I was travelling with and got the test results back in no time. It was my first stop in Phoenix and they were able to deliver my test results within the promised time. I’m very glad I decided to go to this place and would highly recommend them. Thank you for your excellent service!

- Verified patient on 10/30

I and some of my family have unfortunately had to go to the dr, with that being said we have be pleasantly surprised with this NextCare facility. Knowing the numbers of people being tested among “regular” issues, the staff is always nice, friendly and I truly feel cared for.

- Verified patient on 8/20

I'm new to the area with a new job and insurance. I haven't had a chance to set a PCP yet so It was a little frustrating and scary not knowing where to get care that would be covered infer my insurance. It wasn't an ER situation but I need to be seen quickly so I could determine if I could go back to on Monday. I was able to get tested for Covid and TX for other issues. Hopefully my test is negative and we can get to the bottom of this. This UC is minutes from my house. Very convenient.

- Verified patient on 10/16

I was pleasantly surprised. We came in without an appointment and the check in process was very smooth. We had to spend virtually no time in the waiting room as the front office staff checked us in quickly and then we completed the registration in the car. The wait time was surprisingly short considering everything going on right now with Covid. Both the nurse and the provider were great. Very friendly and professional. The front office employee was also very kind and efficient. I commend this team for working under such stressful times in healthcare during a pandemic. I’m a pharmacist and I understand the pressures. I wouldn’t have scored them lower even if I’d had to wait much longer because it’s just so tough right now with the pandemic but they were very efficient and test results came within 20 minutes for strep and Covid. Provider updated us when strep came back negative and then again when Covid was negative. This team did a beautiful job and treated my 13 year old daughter with respect and caring attitudes. Definitely recommend and will use this location again!

- Verified patient on 9/3

Everyone was so nice and helpful from the front desk to support staff. Nurse Practitioner was thorough and took time with me to make sure I received proper diagnosis and treatment. She explained in detail the findings of my tests with kindness and compassion. Great experience!

Next Care Urgent Care is what I call “modern medicine”. Or “current care”. Meaning that the way Next Care is managed as a business and as a medical facility should be adopted by ALL medical facilities! Mind you this is for non life threatening issues. Go to the emergency room for that. For all other medical needs for any member of your family, I highly recommend going here or to a facility that is managed the same way. 1. Once you register you wait time can be managed from a smart phone. This provides you the opportunity to stay home until the staff is ready to see you. No waiting at the office. You can if you wish (aside from COVID related issues). They will text you when it is time to come in. Drive straight to the office and they will be expecting you. 2. Treatment is pretty standard but very friendly. No stuffy Dr. or clinical feeling. 3. They offer a membership program for $39 a month. To get started I paid around $170 for 3 months. My bill was well over $300 for the visit and two tests. Any future visit only costs $39 + and outside treatment and or testing if needed. For someone that doesn’t have OVER PRICED MEDICAL INSURANCE this is extremely affordable access to awesome medical care and preventative treatment. Even if you have medical insurance I would still recommend this service if nothing more then the wait time. We all know nursing a sick child is way easier at home then in the office. Plus you can’t beat the cost. Highly recommend! Go Next Care.

- Verified patient on 8/13

They were absolutely incredible. The check in process online was great with no wait past my scheduled time, and the provider was so nice. They kept running tests until they were able to find out what was wrong, instead of just giving up like I’ve experienced at urgent cares in the past. I would definitely recommend.

- Verified patient on 12/15

Everything was organized and efficient. Your staff is really great. Thank you How can I set up my patient portal to see test results Very smooth. Went in to check in. Went back to car. Got called maybe 10 min Insurance covered costs I am so happy I found your location. Yes I will On my phone Excellent very nice and comfortable No cost Yes. It’s just great Except these questions are getting redundant!!!!! Good. I’m answered this numerous times. PA was perfect

- Verified patient on 11/24

They do a great job at this center to try to get you in, even as a walk-in, which is especially appreciated when you’re not feeling well. The FNP, Page Thomas, and the technician who did my test (I didn’t catch her name) had great bedside manners and Page answered all my questions without making me feel rushed.

- Verified patient on 10/27

Walked in for Covid-19 rapid testing. Despite several people in line ahead of me, wait time was reasonable. Received testing results within 15 minutes of being called into office, I was in and out of the clinic in no more than an hour. This exceeded my expectations

- Verified patient on 9/4

Would Not recommend this doctor!! Went in for infection post opt surgery. Felt like have infection, low grade fever once tynole exceeds its 6 hour mark. But, doctor said they don't do blood work or take urine for WBC, because they can't get results make fast enough. That is a flat out lie!! Because they did a fast urine test for me 3 months ago and gave me antibiotics!! Lazy doctor, made me go to ER, wait additional 6 hours for meds!!!! 8 days after spinal fusion!!! Very disappointed 😞

Very simple process for Covid testing. Unfortunately when we arrived they were out of test kits even though we had appointments. They should hold back enough kits for those people who took the time to make appointments since you can't make an appointment for less than 4 days in advance.

not sure why but the young lady had me put the swab in my nose. I got a negative result, but I'm not sure if I did the test correctly. I've had four tests and I have never had the health professional ask me to do the test myself. Why did this happen?

I waited over an hour and a half but I guess since they may be one of the few places in the city that'll take walk-ins for a covid test maybe I should have been glad that it wasn't any longer. Everything else about this dissenter was perfect wonderfully clean. Kind helpful people. Very professional and confident is grateful for the good care that they gave me thank you Gene

I went in for a sore throat. They did a swab for Strep and it was negative. I looked at my visit summary and it says I went in for COVID symptoms but that was not true. They did not even do a COVID test. If I was there for COVID, I would hope they would do a COVID test versus a swab for Strep.

The provider and nurses were great. The exam room was clean. They made my daughter feel comfortable, especially because she was afraid the COVID test would hurt. Lobby was a little dirty, front desk not so friendly. I was ignored by one when I asked a question. The other said wait I’m still on my lunch break but was sitting on her desk in the lobby. Other than that, the rest of the staff were great.

Phoenix Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
