Scheduling was easy via Solv, but no coordination between Solv and the office resulted in multiple duplicate bookings and unacceptable wait time.  2:30 appointment confirmed by Solv, actual check-in 4:55.  Staff was friendly and courteous, but front desk staff was overwhelmed.  Provider and staff were prompt once I was checked in and appointment was quick and efficient.  Care and bedside manner were top notch.

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

Everyone was pleasant. We had a good experience. My only complaint is that there were two magnetic images of horror in the radiologist office. They were little magnets that a child could see. I don't think these images belong in a medical facility. One had a knife with blood dripping off of it.

I was led to believe they would be able to cut and look to see if they could find the sliver in reality he just figured it was infected and no sliver. I went home and keep digging and pulled out a 3/8” long fiberglass sliver no thanks to this office. Total waste of time

Walk in was greeted with a smile from the receptionist She checked me any quick manner. The male nurse got me to my room and a quick fashion. Got my high blood pressure on the good stuff. They were low on water but quick thinking had somebody go across and get some bottles due to Amazon late delivery not their fault I had a blood draw, wanna make sure I wasn’t dehydrated. The nurse that took my blood phenomenal on her job didn’t even know she had the needle in and drawing blood. That’s all good. She was met for the first time. She listened to me and addressed all my concerns. I felt very comfortable and I would recommend her to anybody and the staff , I’m glad I’m in their care.

I made an appointment for my cough that I’ve had since the day before thanksgiving and lost my voice since thanksgiving. The provider came in listened to my lungs, and looked in my nose and mouth and said I’ll just prescribe you something for your cough. My appointment was literally less than 5 min. I feel like She did not take the time to really look at me.

Spanaway Cholesterol Tests

Cholesterol isn't always a negative thing. It aids in the growth of cells and the production of hormones, among other things. On the other hand, too much cholesterol might be dangerous.

Cholesterol comes from two different places. The liver produces cholesterol, and dietary cholesterol comes from the foods you eat. Cholesterol is found in meat, dairy, and eggs, among other animal products. Foods high in saturated and trans fats may cause your liver to produce more cholesterol than you need, resulting in dangerous cholesterol levels.

High cholesterol increases the risk of heart attack and stroke, which are two of the leading causes of mortality in the United States. In the United States, approximately 38% of people have high total cholesterol levels. Because high cholesterol has no symptoms, it's critical to have your levels checked to ensure they're within normal ranges. Cholesterol levels in children and teenagers should also be checked.

According to the CDC, those over the age of 20 who have a low risk of cardiovascular disease should get their cholesterol checked every five years. Those with risk factors for cardiovascular disease should have their cholesterol checked more frequently. Other risk factors for heart disease

Fortunately, simple lifestyle changes can help you lower your cholesterol. Reduce your intake of saturated fats and eliminate trans fats from your diet as much as feasible. Trans fats are widely found in store-bought cookies and baked goods, and are labeled as "partially hydrogenated vegetable oil" on food labels. Limit your intake of processed foods, especially those heavy in sugar, and consume lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Increase your physical activity by at least three times per week. Any type of physical activity is useful. Instead of taking the elevator during your lunch break, go for a walk. Aim for at least 10,000 steps per day.

Don't smoke, and drink alcohol only in moderation. Not only will these changes help you lower your cholesterol, but they will also improve your cardiovascular health.
