I tried to book online but was unable to do so. I went in anyhow, and the receptionist greeted me, took my information and responded that I would be seen. The nurses aide was friendly, caring and very outgoing. The Dr. was friendly, efficient and very caring. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it's particularly common among young people aged 15-24 years. In Hot Springs, AR, and the surrounding areas, it's crucial for those who are sexually active, have multiple partners, or are in a relationship with someone who has an STD to get tested. This is especially true if they are experiencing symptoms, which can include burning during urination, discharge, or, for women, pelvic pain.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is vital for several reasons. Firstly, it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe health complications like pelvic inflammatory disease in women and infertility in both sexes. Secondly, it helps prevent the spread of the infection to others. According to the CDC, gonorrhea is a significant public health concern due to its prevalence and potential for serious health consequences.
