QUICKmed Urgent Care, Medina Urgent Care - 955 N Court St
Tested positive for Covid on Sunday, made appt for Wednesday because I was feeling so sick. I wanted to make sure nothing else was going on. Doctor was rude from the get go and basically told me to suck it up and it wasn't necessary to miss work. Very condescending, she had a young man shadowing her and he was very nice- he did seem uncomfortable with her bedside manner.

Sparkling Clean

My eye was almost swollen shut from poison ivy, so I went in. She told me right off there would probably be around a 45 minute wait because of two other cases there, which I appreciated being told up front! Mine wasn’t an emergency so it was fine. When it was my turn to go in, it was only a few minutes before the doctor came in...They were so nice (and I wish I was better with remembering names) and the doctor made sure everything else was ok and wasn’t rushing me through. I would recommend this place....I appreciated their kindness and efficiency!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk of hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have been exposed to the virus through contaminated blood or body fluids, those who have traveled to or lived in areas with high rates of hepatitis, and those who have had unprotected sex with someone who has hepatitis. People who share needles or other drug paraphernalia, or have a history of long-term, heavy alcohol use are also at risk. In Wooster, OH, it's important to be aware of these risk factors and consider getting tested if you fall into any of these categories.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it allows for early detection and treatment, which can prevent the disease from progressing to a more serious stage, such as cirrhosis or liver cancer. According to the CDC, hepatitis is a leading cause of liver cancer and the most common reason for liver transplantation in the United States. In Wooster, OH, getting tested is an important step in protecting your health and the health of your community.
