Quest Diagnostics - 3935 Lake Michigan Dr NW
I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

I'm 22 years old and have been to a lot of urgent cares in my life but I can honestly say this is the best experience I have ever had at one. I waited for less than 5 minutes both times I have been here - the staff is incredible and made me feel so comfortable. For as long as I live in Grand Rapids, I will be going to this Urgent Care. Selma and Scott (I think the doctors name was) were both fantastic. Thank you!

Getting Tested for STDs in Grandville, MI

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their health routine. This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are under the age of 25, are men who have sex with men, or have had unprotected sex. Pregnant women should also get tested for STDs to prevent potential transmission to their baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Early detection can prevent serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, organ damage, and increased risk of HIV infection. It also helps to stop the spread of these diseases, as many people with STDs don't show symptoms but can still transmit the infection to others. According to the CDC, regular testing is the most effective way to stay aware of your sexual health status.
