The lady at the front was very pleasant and professional, like she enjoyed what she did. I didn’t have to wait long. Dr. Gold was very helpful and took the time to answer my questions.

Urgent Care FAQs

  • How much will an urgent care visit in Denmark cost?

The price charged at an urgent care, whether in Denmark or elsewhere, will be based on the location, and there are no actual standard costs between the clinics. Assuming you are paying with cash, you might come across an urgent clinic that charges you $50 while another situated some mile away charges you $100 for the same services. The standard cost in urgent care where insurance cover is not involved ranges from $100 to $125. This price is generally the standard price of a visit before extra services. There are a couple of additional care services that could make your appointment to an urgent care costly including x-rays and lab tests, medications and injections (such as immunization), casting broken bones, as well as stitches and splints. If you have a viable insurance plan in place, the standard pay will be between $20 – 50 depending on your insurance coverage and whether you are in contact with the provider.

  • Are Denmark urgent care centers open after hours?

Most primary care doctor offices are open during routine work hours, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Conversely, most of the urgent care centers in Denmark are available after hours, on weekends, and many holidays. Typical urgent care hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, although location-specific hours may vary.

  • Do urgent care centers in Denmark take appointments?

Historically, urgent care centers were strictly an on-demand, walk-in healthcare service mode. More recently, as consumer behaviors and expectations have evolved, many urgent care clinics have begun offering book ahead visits, allowing consumers to select a same-day or next-day time that works best for their schedule. Use Solv to find a Denmark urgent care center that offers advanced bookings (or appointments) and book online.

  • How do I book an appointment online with an urgent care in Denmark?

Solv allows Denmark residents and visitors to book urgent care visits online with just a few taps. Same-day and next-day visit times are generally available, and you can search for real-time availability clinics.

  • How can I find an urgent care in Denmark who takes my insurance?

Solv allows you to find any of the urgent care and walk-in clinics in Denmark, many of which accept most major commercial insurances. Just browse the clinics page to see if your carrier and plan is listed. If you are still unsure, it is best to contact the urgent care center directly for clarification.

  • Do Denmark urgent care centers offer virtual visits or telemedicine?

Many urgent care centers, including those in Denmark, now offer virtual visits or telemedicine for residents and visitors throughout the state. Virtual urgent care visits are generally booked online whether in advance or on-demand. Clinics that do offer virtual care have a video icon on their profiles.

  • What is the best urgent care center in Denmark?

While it would be easy to provide a list of urgent care centers in and around Denmark, 'best' is a challenging term to qualify. For some consumers, that could mean the closest location whereas other people may prioritize patient reviews, service costs, availability, or whether or not the provider accepts their insurance. With the list of locations above, use the filters provided to narrow the results to find the best urgent care for your needs.

  • What is urgent care?

Urgent care are available to assist patients that are looking for immediate, convenient medical care. In that manner, they are similar to an emergency room. The difference, however, is that ERs are meant to treat major, life-threatening injuries and illnesses while urgent care centers manage life’s minor bruises and bumps. In simple terms, an urgent care is seen as a walk-in health center that focuses in offering non-emergent health care conditions, including the treatment of the typical illnesses and injuries such as fractures and sprains, cuts and burns, scrapes, stings and bites, flu and cold symptoms, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and much more. Most urgent care facilities offer both diagnostic and preventive care such as well visits, immunizations, STD testing and annual physicals. For regular visits and check-ups on these clinics, you should expect to pay between $20 and $100. The good thing is that most urgent care clinics will accept major PPOs and insurance cover, Medicare, as well as self-pay in the form of credit cards or cash. Urgent care clinics are located in most parts of the country in various regions to offset emergency room visits and provide a gap in healthcare services. They take patients during all hours of operations, which offer a significant convenience to most people who have and continue to undergo the need for sudden and immediate medical attention.

Broken to Better Urgent Care is a great place. The nurse and Dr. Baker are so nice. Dr. Baker actually listened to my concerns and did not rush my appointment. She did not just send me away and brush off my symptoms. She thoroughly examined me and prescribed meds to relieve symptoms while waiting for COVID results. My results were back in 2 days. The facility was really clean and professional looking. It was super easy to book an appointment online and barely any wait time. I was in and out in a very timely manner. I will definitely be going to this urgent care from now on when I get sick and will highly recommend to family and friends!!!

We decided to do our Sports physicals today because we had such a positive experience when we had to come a few weeks ago for an emergency situation with poison ivy. I was very apprehensive to go anywhere due to Covid however we were very pleased and decided that we had no reservations about doing our sports physicals there since it was not time for a well visit at our family doctor. The PA Liz is fantastic!!! She’s very professional, very personable and has a wonderful bedside manner. Olivia, at the front desk, is equally as kind and friendly and makes coming to Broken to Better a Wonderfull experience!! We were encouraged by our Friend and Pharmacist at Goods Pharmacy to try your Urgent care when my daughter needed care on a Sunday due to her poison ivy that was spreading into her eyes and we could not have made a better choice!

This place was great!!! I loved the nurse! He was so nice and personable! The dr asst. was just as great. Kinda wish this was our regular dr and not an urgent care. We live in Chester and will always drive up to this location.

Visiting from NC my son broke his collar bone! Went to Piedmont urgent care and left as soon as we walked in the door due to rudeness! For that I am blessed because we stumbled across this urgent care and they are AMAZING! They greeted us kindly and the visit was smooth from start to finish! The physician was great the front office staff were great, the nurse was great and the X-ray tech was great as well! They were kind, polite, explained everything throughly and made my 6 year old feel safe and comfy! Came home and told my family to only use this urgent care from here on out! They provide exceptional care! The office is clean, compliant & was very quick to provide answers! Thank you to all of you who made us feel welcome and safe!

I have referred several patients to this clinic, but it was the first time I had a need myself. They are quick but not rushed, courteous and thorough. I am thankful to have them nearby - the only option we had before was the urgent care.

Really nice urgent care office. The staff was super friendly listened to my concerns. Maria, Heather, and Liz were so nice and professional.

If i ever have to go to urgent care again, i will definitely go here! super friendly staff, loved the dr! 100% recommend!

- Verified patient on 7/10

Broken To Better is by far the best urgent care provider I've used in Rock Hill (my regular doctor is good at keeping up with scheduled needs, but as with most such practices, hard to see on really short notice, or on weekends, etc.)... Dr, Baker is not only really competent, with access to a large network of expert "consulting" folks), but is-- and this is so important-- KIND and THOUGHTFUL. I not only felt like I was getting attentive, expert care, but also truly COMPASSIONATE, CONCERNED care. And that's rare in today's medical marketplace. Every member of the staff there was really on top of things, and truly kind and considerate. I can't imagine using another urgent care provider locally!

There was a bit of a wait, with Covid, that was understandable. We were in and out in a timely manner and definitely recommend this urgent care. The staff was polite, friendly, and courteous.

- Verified patient on 8/29

I made an appointment on line and filled out the information. I was seen really quickly. The staff is very professional and friendly. The doctor is wonderful. She asked a lot of questions, did a hands-on exam, asked about medicines I have used and “called in” a prescription. This is the Urgent Care I will be using.

Imagine an Urgent Care where there is hardly any wait time, the entire staff is always friendly and the Physician shows a genuine interest in you and your situation. Veritas is that place!

I am a very happy new patient! This will be our family's new urgent Care for our future urgent needs.

This is the best urgent care I have ever been to. They got me in and out with no problems. Friendly 🥰

I can’t say this was my favorite because I have no others to compare it to. I was unable to get into my doctor today and they suggested an Urgent Care. Since I frequent that shopping center I went there and was pleasantly surprised. Very efficient people in the back

As I learned earlier today that a relative tested positive for COVID 19 and I was around him last week, I needed to find a testing site to know my health status. Your clinic allowed me access to a rapid test that resulted in a negative result. Your staff were very caring and professional in providing this service to me. I was asked if I had questions after receiving my results and each question was thoroughly answered. Thank you to all the staff involved with my visit to Brocken to Better Urgent Care.

This was the best urgent care I have ever visited! Very friendly and caring staff!

- Verified patient on 11/8

I especially appreciated the knowledge gained from the doctor. Seem like a wonderful place secondary to an emergency room visit. Learning the urgent care is family owned was special. I would recommend this place to theirs.

Urgent Care in Denmark

Urgent care is Denmark's best option for quality medical care when you need it, offering walk-in appointments during extended hours and on weekends. Solv even has clinic partners in the Denmark-area that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait.

Walk-in clinics provide a convenient, fast alternative to emergency rooms—even primary care providers—treating minor injuries and illnesses including strep throat, infections, cold and flu symptoms, allergies, rashes, burns, bites, and more. Additionally, most offer preventative care including annual well exams, lab testing, and vaccinations.

When you’re in need of medical care for a non-life threatening condition, trust the urgent care providers nearby. And whenever possible, make it easier by scheduling and managing your visit with Solv.

Urgent Care Guide

In a recent survey conducted with the Urgent Care Association, Solv found that patients were waiting an average of 24 days for appointments with their primary care provider. In a world of instant gratification, consumers demand more. They demand now. If you want to watch a movie, you download it in minutes or stream it instantly. If you need groceries, you can pick up your phone and have them delivered to you within the hour. If you need restaurant reservations, you find one with availability, book online, walk in minutes later and sit right down. Healthcare shouldn’t be any different.

That’s why urgent care has been growing at a faster pace than any other healthcare service in the United States. And it is why healthcare consumers search for “urgent care” more than 5x more than “primary care” or “family doctor,” combined. These consumers are highly actionable, searching with high intent terms like “urgent care near me.” They want same day access to quality healthcare providers when they are sick or injured - after hours, one weekends and on holidays - without the cost and inconvenience of the emergency room.

Urgent care centers typically treat minor illnesses like the flu, sinus infections and strep throat, as well as injuries like bone fractures and sprains, cuts, scrapes and burns, making these clinics ideal for diagnosing and treating non-emergent healthcare needs. And at a growing rate urgent care clinics are offering preventative care services including annual physicals and well visits, flu shots and other immunizations and vaccines, taking on the role of primary care provider for the tens of millions of consumers that don’t have one.

For kids there are special pediatric urgent care centers, usually open after hours for patients between the ages of 1 and 18.

Urgent Care Services & Pricing

Urgent care centers, which are part of the walk-in clinic healthcare category, are a convenient resource for consumers needing treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. Services that you would normally receive at your primary care office are usually available at an urgent care including annual and school physicals, flu shots and immunizations, treatment for illnesses including colds, flu stomach pains, sinus and ear infections and more. You can also be seen for injuries such as burns, bites, sprains and breaks - things that you might first thing to go to the emergency room vs urgent care, but you’ll have a shorter wait and smaller bill at the urgent care. As for cost, without insurance, you should expect between $100-140 for your visit, plus the cost of any labs, tests or images. With insurance, urgent care will be similar to seeing a specialist with applicable co-pay.

Insurance & Payments

Nearly all urgent care centers take commercial insurance and many (if not most) will take medicare. As such if you have insurance coverage, you can expect the financial experience to be similar to visiting a specialist where you have a co-pay, usually $35-50, due at the time of the visit. Any additional lab work, x-rays or other tests performed will be billed against your insurance first and any supplemental balance due will be invoiced to you after the fact. Without insurance, you’ll pay a visit fee between $100-140 at the time of your visit. This is typically 25-50% more than your primary care provider, but usually the convenience is well worth the additional cost. If you are interested in a telehealth or video visit, your cost could be as much as 50% less than an urgent care, you could be diagnosed and prescribed medication and you’ll never have to leave your home.

Urgent Care Hours & Wait Times

Every urgent care center - even those part of the same group or brand - may have different hours. While they are meant to be conveniently accessible during times when your primary care provider is not, that’s subjective and highly variable. A traditional formula, however, is that an urgent care is open 6 to 7 days a week usually between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm. That could shift to nearly any 8-12 hour period between 7 am and 10 pm. You’ll even find some clinics open 24 hours a day, similar to an emergency room. As for wait time, most patients report waiting between 15-45 minutes on average, but that can certainly vary, as well. It’s usually best to find an urgent care near you to either confirm the hours online, or call the clinic directly to verify. Or, you can book a same day doctor appointment online with Solv.
