Quest Diagnostics - 368 E Riverside Dr
I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Saturday at 9:30, I came in with an infected cat bite to my left hand. Dr. Neubauer calmly went through the steps and promptly prescribed antibiotics and cautioned of possible complications. Here it is Tuesday evening the redness is gone, the swelling is gone, and a small bolus is shrinking. Very happy result. J R

Getting Tested for STDs in Washington, UT

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or have a partner who has tested positive for an STD. Regular testing is also recommended for individuals who identify as men who have sex with men (MSM), as this group is at a higher risk for certain STDs, according to the CDC.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial to maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs do not show symptoms, which means you could be infected and not know it. Untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing can help identify an infection early, leading to more effective treatment and reducing the risk of transmitting the disease to others.
