I walked into Indigo thinking I would have to wait without an appt. Well to my surprise, I got right in there. I mean I barely sat down and the called me back. I haven't had to wait to be seen, as many times that I have been there you would think I would have at least one disappointment... Nope, and today they had only one provider. I have been lucky when visiting Indigo urgent/multi care. The providers have always been caring and all other employees have been so pleasent. I recommend all that need medical attention to give them a try and I bet you come out of there with the same attitude as mine! Thank you Indigo employees for being so awesome! I will return!!

Showed up at the Ruston urgent care location for a walk in, learned about the crazy wait time but also the app, so I installed Solv and found that the Tacoma urgent care location has appointments available to schedule that day, where Ruston only had tomorrow. So I scheduled one just 30 minutes away, rushed to the office and the app knew I was there so I checked in, talked to the receptionist, she already had my insurance and stuff from the app scanning my card👍 so she photoed my ID and told me I'd have a 45 minute wait. I was excited for this. I left and used the wait list on the app to track my position in line, and showed up, was seen pretty much right away, dental assistant was kind, put in all the info, doctor came in right away, got the antibiotics I needed immediately. Pharmacy had my prescription ready soon as I got there, within 10 minutes probably. The whole experience was pretty amazing and even though it was sudden and I was in pain, had to learn about the app and whatnot, it was so easy. Very impressed.

The When I called yesterday afternoon there was a 3/4 hour wait. The kind receptionist suggested I make a 9:30 am appointment this morning. I did and it worked out very nicely. A short wait and all went very smoothly!  Yes, I’d recommend this provider based on my experience today.

Doctor blew off everything I said , wasted 250$ For visit to get 20$ mouth wash . Would not recommend… staff was amazing. Still have the same issue with no end in sight. The doctor just tries to get through as many people as possible it’s all about the money but the people again like the tech the nurse the front receptionist were amazing. The doctor couldn’t care less didn’t even look at the issue literally sat in his chair and talked the whole time for about four minutes I would not recommend going here if you really have an issue. ( Dr. Simranjit ) go anywhere else .

The front desk staff and nurse were super friendly and nice. The xray machine wasn't working at this facility, which they really should let the patient know before they make an appointment.. I was seen by a nurse practitioner, Kamaal I believe.  She seemed nice, however, she didn't seem too concerned and asked minimum questions. I don't feel like my concern was  fully addressed/resolved.  I should have just gone to my primary care instead of paying $100 copay only to be told, "just keep up with warm fluids and come back again if it gets worst", because it's just that easy to come back and pay another $100 copay again. I drove about 18 miles to get seen at this location because appointments at the clinic near me get booked super fast.. I mentioned that to the provider that I don't want to drive this far again just one day later..and I was told "try making an appointment a day before near you then" (because clearly, I didn't try that and chose to drive that far in snowy weather). Last time I was sick with this horrendous cough and phlegm, a provider at different location told me exactly the same that it's just a viral, only for me to end up at my primary care the next day who diagnosed me with pneumonia! I see a similar review here from another patient ending up with pneumonia because your provider here, misdiagnosed her.. I sure hope the nurse practitioner didn't miss anything.. I couldn't ask for x-ray anyway, since it wasn't working at this location. I did mention to her that last time with exact same thing, I was prescribed antibiotics and she brushed it off saying "it's just a viral".. Not sure how she decided on that when she didn't even do an xray.  I was not all satisfied with my treatment by this provider at this location. Multicare Indigo, you need to fix your mistakes and train your providers, instead of copy pasting the same response to all the low rating reviews. Looking at the reviews here, no wonder this location always has multiple appointments available as compare to other locations.

The staff at this location could not have been more helpful or friendly.  From the check-in, to the Medical Assistant Naya (sp?), to the Nurse Practitioner Katherine I saw.  Once I was in my room, they were efficient, knowledgeable.  I left knowing exactly what my plan of care was.  Highly recommend.

COVID Pill (Paxlovid) Treatment in Enumclaw, WA

COVID-19 must be detected early in order to receive successful treatment, especially for patients who are at high risk of hospitalization. You can receive a same-day or next-day appointment for a rapid COVID test when you schedule with Solv. We collaborate with thousands of top-rated healthcare providers across the country to make it easy for people to find and receive the care they need. Using our directory, find a healthcare practitioner near you and schedule an appointment online.

Paxlovid and molnupiravir are two novel antiviral pills licensed by the FDA for the treatment of COVID-19. Paxlovid is made by Pfizer, while molnupiravir is made by Merck. These drugs can significantly lower the risk of hospitalization and mortality in COVID-19-infected high-risk patients, according to FDA-reported clinical research results.

What is a COVID pill treatment?

COVID pill treatment, according to the FDA, is intended for people who have already been diagnosed with COVID-19. The pills are not the same as the COVID vaccine in that they do not protect against COVID infection. The pills should not be used as a substitute for vaccines, according to the FDA, although they may be especially helpful for patients who are immunocompromised or unable to be vaccinated. COVID drugs, according to the DSA, are meant to reduce the likelihood of being hospitalized owing to severe COVID symptoms.

Before you ask your doctor for a COVID pill prescription, there are some important points to understand, as noted by the FDA:

  • COVID pills are only available to a limited number of people. They're for people who have modest symptoms but are at a higher risk of developing serious COVID-19-related illnesses. This includes people with underlying health concerns like heart disease or diabetes, as well as the elderly.
Some people should avoid taking the COVID pill. Pfizer's COVID pill is licensed for those aged 12 and up, while Merck's COVID pill is just for adults. Children should not take the Merck pill since it may interfere with bone growth. The pills should not be taken by pregnant women or those who have liver or kidney disorders.
  • Other drugs may interact with the pills. Before taking the COVID pill, tell your doctor about any medications you're taking. Other medications, such as heart meds, blood thinners, and HIV medications, may be affected by the pills. To keep track of any drug interactions, you'll need to work closely with your doctor.
  • It's vital to get started on treatment right away. To be successful, the pills must be taken within five days of the commencement of symptoms. If you think you might have COVID, pay close attention to any symptoms and have a COVID test as soon as possible. Some of the most common COVID symptoms include cough, headache, fever, muscle aches, and loss of taste or smell.

What to expect from COVID pill treatment

If you test positive for COVID and your doctor believes you'll need to go to the hospital, they'll likely issue you a prescription and tell you where to receive your drugs.
COVID treatment with Paxlovid or molnupiravir is usually very straightforward because the drugs can be taken at home. The FDA recommends that you begin taking your medication as soon as possible and that you strictly follow your doctor's recommendations. Both medications can be taken with or without food. Do not open or crush the pills; they should be swallowed whole. If you forget to take a dose, call your doctor to find out when you should resume taking it. Even if you feel better, stick to the FDA's recommendations and take all of your medications.

According to the FDA, the drugs are intended to reduce the likelihood of hospitalization. You may not feel better immediately away after taking the COVID pill, and the time of your illness may not be reduced.

Possible side effects

Both medications are said to have modest side effects, according to the FDA. Muscle aches, diarrhea, elevated blood pressure, and loss of taste are all possible Paxlovid side effects. Nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea are all possible side effects of molnupiravir.

Molnupiravir has been shown to affect fetal development. Women who may become pregnant should use a reliable method of birth control during treatment and for at least four days after finishing treatment, according to the FDA. For at least three months after therapy, males who are sexually active should take a reliable type of birth control.

What to expect after treatment

According to FDA guidelines, if you don't feel better after five days of taking your prescription or if your symptoms worsen, call your doctor immediately.

What safety measures should I continue to follow?

Stay in isolation for as long as your doctor recommends, even if you feel better. If you are at high risk, continue to wear a mask in public and maintain social distance, according to CDC guidelines and recommendations.

What scientists are still learning

The FDA will continue to evaluate COVID pill therapy for safety and efficacy, and additional innovative drugs are likely to follow.
