I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My husband visited ProHealth Urgent Care on Riverwood Dr in Pewaukee a week ago and was seen by Lindsay Mantey, APNP. She was personable and very thorough. After a chest x-ray she prescribed an antibiotic and full instructions on how to take it as well as OTCs for symptom relief. He felt way better within a couple of days. Everyone at that facility has always been friendly and helpful. It's our "go to" place when needed.

This clinic has been a literal blessing for me. Dr Mike and his wife Cindy are such wonderful people, down to earth and very caring. Something you don’t see much of in the actual big doctors offices etc. Doctor Mike knows his stuff well and I completely trust him 100% his wife Cindy is always there with a smile she takes time out to talk with you when she can they always check up to make sure you’re doing OK If more people, more doctors, more nurses, would have this type of kindness and attitude toward their patients it would be such a better world. Some of us have extreme anxiety and I know doctors have a hard time dealing with that but not MIKE and Cindy they know exactly how to deal with that as well as how to deal with all kinds of physical Health issues. To me mental and physical health all go together you couldn’t find a better place than here for your health needs. I recommend them more than anyone else.

Getting Tested for STDs in Waukesha, WI

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple sexual partners or engage in unprotected sex. According to the CDC, regular STD testing is a crucial part of maintaining your overall health.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is important for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms in the early stages, so you could be infected and not know it. Secondly, untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Lastly, knowing your STD status protects your partners from potential infection.
