Made the very first appointment of the day and was seen immediately. The NP was fantastic. So kind, upbeat, engaging, willing to listen and answer any question. The front desk staff is usually a lot friendlier than we experienced today, but she certainly wasnt unfriendly. Overall, excellent experience. In and out in 20 minutes. That's the way it should be!

I took my Dad there to get his ears cleaned, and they did all that could but one of his two ears had wax that was impacted. They actually did follow-up the next morning to try to get him into the nearest ENT doctor at the soonest available date & time, which was very important since he couldn't hear and hearing aids were not working.

Prichard Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. However, certain groups are at a higher risk and should consider getting tested regularly. These include sexually active women under the age of 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use condoms. Additionally, if you've been previously diagnosed with an STD, you're at a higher risk of contracting chlamydia and should consider regular testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial in preventing serious health complications. According to the CDC, untreated chlamydia can cause pelvic inflammatory disease in women, potentially leading to irreversible damage to the reproductive system. In men, chlamydia can cause a condition called epididymitis, which may lead to infertility. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications.
