The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

The MA who swab me for respiratory illnesses didnt do a great job . I've been doing MA/phlebotomy work for over 14+ years and she didnt do a best practice swab. Also the waiting area washrooms had no paper or soap. One washroom had a Eswab anaerobic culture swab in the sink. Other than that ... great service .

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, those who have had unprotected sex with an infected person, and healthcare workers who have been accidentally pricked with a needle. Additionally, anyone born to a mother with hepatitis, or people who have lived with someone with the disease should also be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis can cause liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection through testing allows for effective treatment and can prevent these severe health complications. Additionally, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
