Everyone was wonderful from front desk, to X-ray tech, to physician. The care was great.  The only thing I didn’t understand was why you have no durable supplies , like ask arm sling, which for the cost of the visit, should have been included.  I would highly recommends Urgi Care to my family and friends.

This is the first place I actually liked everything was very clean people were friendly. Mostly loved how the nurses cleaned up and sanitizer before I entered the exam room. I really appreciated because it makes me feel safe and I know the person after will be safe as well! You guys are doing great! Keep up the good work! I know it isn't easy by how many people filled up the lobby In 10 minutes. Thanks again!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone can contract hepatitis, but certain groups are at higher risk. These include people who have been in close contact with someone infected with hepatitis, those who have engaged in unprotected sex, individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, and healthcare workers exposed to infected blood. If you fall into any of these categories, it's advisable to get tested. Additionally, if you're experiencing symptoms such as jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), fatigue, nausea, or abdominal pain, you should consider getting tested, according to the CDC.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can help prevent these complications and ensure you receive the necessary treatment. Moreover, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.

It's important to note that the actual number of hepatitis cases may be higher than reported, as many people with the disease do not show symptoms and therefore do not get tested.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Chicago Ridge

Risk factors for hepatitis in Chicago Ridge are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles, and close contact with someone who has the disease. Additionally, certain demographics, such as those with lower socioeconomic status, may be at higher risk due to limited access to healthcare services.
