QUICKmed Urgent Care, Youngstown Urgent Care - 2915 Glenwood Ave
I came in scared because I coughed up blood in the morning. The staff made me feel much more comfortable and we’re so friendly. Tracey the nurse practitioner comforted me and assured me that it’s okay to be scared but that I would feel much better soon. Thank you so much to the entire staff for helping me.

I had a tonsil stone and saw Ashley G. She was absolutely amazing!!! She was 100% patient with me and answered every question that I asked. Not once did I feel rushed. I have to also say that the female assistant that was at the front desk was also very helpful and kind.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of someone infected with hepatitis should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, have had unprotected sex with an infected person, or have lived with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, or have been born to a mother with hepatitis should also consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making testing an important preventive measure. Early detection also helps prevent the spread of the disease to others.
