Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care, Franklin - 509 Hillsboro Rd
The doc gave me the tools I need to go forward. I am very grateful.  I was extremely belligerent and would like to apologize for that.  For some reason I do that when I am scared.  Not a good reaction obviously and my husband didn’t think it was a good one either!  I will work on not doing that in the future. Thank you for your patienceand your kindness  🙏🙏🙏

I have had wonderful experiences with the Vanderbilt clinic on McEwen. They have been great help with two different ear problems, they gave me my Covid vacccination in record time, and I’m going back today for a non healing wound.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Hepatitis testing is recommended for individuals who are at a high risk of contracting the disease. This includes people who have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis, those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, individuals who have used intravenous drugs, and those who have engaged in unprotected sex, particularly with multiple partners. Additionally, healthcare workers and people with certain medical conditions, such as liver disease, are also advised to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of serious health complications such as liver disease and cancer. Additionally, knowing one's hepatitis status can prevent the spread of the disease to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and may not know they are infected, making testing even more important.
