I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Springfield Clinic Urgent Care, West Wabash - 4525 Wabash Ave
Dr Abraham was thorough, explained my condition and did not rush to prescribe antibiotics. He assured me the urgent care would be open Sunday morning if I felt worse. The Benzoate pills helped. Four days later I am much better-still recovering but having no breathing issues. I appreciate that this visit is included in my SC records for reference for visits with my primary.

I was so impressed with the service that I received I requested the names of all concerned. PAC Switzer Kelli, and RAD tech Dave, were all caring and friendly as well as professional. I honestly truly enjoyed my visit from start to finish. Thanks again......

I waited 5 minutes or less before being called by the RN. After checking vitals and asking a few questions she authorized the COVID-19 test that I came in for. A few minutes later Dr Abraham asked a few more questions and told me that I should expect a phone call with my results. I received the phone call about 15 minutes after I arrived. I always feel confident with Springfield Clinic staff and the care they provide.

Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Never felt uncomfortable with not knowing what was my dagoncis. Everyone made sure to help me through the process and never made me feel wrong for having a COVID test just to make sure. All my answers were meet and everyone was thankful when I left and told me to feel better and stay safe.

I went in for a rapid COVID test for 15 to 20 minute results and I sat for over an hour and still didn’t get results until they called me at home 3 hours later

The test site was a shipping container, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was the first test scheduled for that day and made it through quickly. Very good job.

From the man at temperature check, to check-in, to the nurse and doctor - everyone was so friendly!!! Wait time was quick and test results were even quicker. Great experience!

Great but it take a long time for the second test results went on Sunday didn't get the second test till Thursday. And I still didn't get my second test I don't know because I test negative that why I don't have my test.

Dr Abraham expected immediate responses when I couldn’t think due to severe shaking. He listened to me only part of the time. I was told I had a UTI when there, but at no time on the call back regarding my blood tests was I told I had a kidney infection. A 2nd medication was added but my urologist said it was not needed. Only when I went to my primary care was I told the kidneys were infected. I was disappointed in my care for the first time at urgent care.

All that I came incontact with couldn't be better🤗 Doc was adorable all the way around. The man at the door got me a wheelchair when I came in, and on my way out,, he was going to push me to my car in that harsh weather! ❤❤ they were each very friendly. Trena did not cause my Covid test to be uncomfortable at all.

When I called to inquire about Covid testing, the nurse was extremely helpful and walked me through what I needed to do. Upon checking into the clinic, I didn’t have to wait to be brought back to a room. The nurse was very helpful in answering my questions since this was my first Covid test. With a negative test result, the Dr was able to get to the root of my problem. I highly recommend this facility.

Super efficient, super friendly and both tests are free. Get the app if you can, and do the paperwork ahead of time. I’ve heard appts are good to have so I made one via the Solv app. My spouse was with me and they tested her as well , just had her complete registration by email while we waited for rapid results.

So glad to have found this. No longer waiting days to get tested. Just pull up and go.

My early elementary-aged son and I had cold symptoms on a weekend morning. I booked online for later that morning. Both of us were in and out of here in under ten minutes. The guy was very nice and helped my son feel at ease. We swabbed ourselves for five seconds each nostril with our first sticks, and then repeated the process with a second stick. One was the rapid antigen test and the other the PCR test. Much easier and less painful than the other tests I had. It kind of looked like a place in strip mall you'd find in the Simpsons, but it did the job. :D My son was intrigued by a ceiling tile that looked like it was going to fall out, but it was over their cubicles, not over us, so I guess it doesn't matter. The place was very clean regardless of the tile or Simpson-esque layout. Halfway on the 15-minute drive home, my phone email notification dinged to tell me my rapid results were in. We were both negative. I'll definitely head out there again if I need another test. Beats getting my brain poked with a swab any day. Highly recommend.

I booked online. This was an outdoor "pop up" Covid-19 testing site. The staff were organized, professional, and friendly--in spite of the 17 mph NW wind and 8 degree wind chill. Grateful for the opportunity to test and to those facilitating and providing the testing.

The nurse was great and listened to my concerns. The doctor spent less than 2 minutes in the room and shrugged off my concerns saying probably just a virus and take over the counter meds before I even had test results back.

- Verified patient on 3/24

I scheduled an appointment for a rapid Covid test due to an exposure on Tuesday. I thought I was signing up for a drive in test but was instead routed to the Emergency Clinic. I was charged $20 for a co-pay which made me mad since the website stated it was free. I was then put in a room and a full blown office visit was performed and probably charged to my insurance. I told the nurse and the nurse practitioner that my exposure was limited, that I had no symptoms and I wanted a rapid test so I could go back to watching my grandson. The nurse practitioner said they performed the test that would take AT LEAST 2 days for a result. I expressed my displeasure and asked for a rapid test which I asked for all along. The nurse practitioner finally agreed but expressed her dissatisfaction as she walked out the door. When the very kind nurse returned I again apologized and reiterated that I was signed up for just a drive through rapid test. After assuring me the test results would be about 15 minutes, I was called with my negative result an hour later.

Springfield Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
