The staff at this location could not have been more helpful or friendly.  From the check-in, to the Medical Assistant Naya (sp?), to the Nurse Practitioner Katherine I saw.  Once I was in my room, they were efficient, knowledgeable.  I left knowing exactly what my plan of care was.  Highly recommend.

Showed up at the Ruston urgent care location for a walk in, learned about the crazy wait time but also the app, so I installed Solv and found that the Tacoma urgent care location has appointments available to schedule that day, where Ruston only had tomorrow. So I scheduled one just 30 minutes away, rushed to the office and the app knew I was there so I checked in, talked to the receptionist, she already had my insurance and stuff from the app scanning my card👍 so she photoed my ID and told me I'd have a 45 minute wait. I was excited for this. I left and used the wait list on the app to track my position in line, and showed up, was seen pretty much right away, dental assistant was kind, put in all the info, doctor came in right away, got the antibiotics I needed immediately. Pharmacy had my prescription ready soon as I got there, within 10 minutes probably. The whole experience was pretty amazing and even though it was sudden and I was in pain, had to learn about the app and whatnot, it was so easy. Very impressed.

The When I called yesterday afternoon there was a 3/4 hour wait. The kind receptionist suggested I make a 9:30 am appointment this morning. I did and it worked out very nicely. A short wait and all went very smoothly!  Yes, I’d recommend this provider based on my experience today.

Friendly Staff

Very easy to schedule appt for a same day. Was surprised by the fact that they are paperless and in order to view anything you have to download their app. It’s been 2 days and still no results, as for the medication you have to go on the appt and send it your self to the pharmacy otherwise you will not get it. Overall it was a good visit but it could have improved on some things for sure.

I walked into Indigo thinking I would have to wait without an appt. Well to my surprise, I got right in there. I mean I barely sat down and the called me back. I haven't had to wait to be seen, as many times that I have been there you would think I would have at least one disappointment... Nope, and today they had only one provider. I have been lucky when visiting Indigo urgent/multi care. The providers have always been caring and all other employees have been so pleasent. I recommend all that need medical attention to give them a try and I bet you come out of there with the same attitude as mine! Thank you Indigo employees for being so awesome! I will return!!

I was there for an covid test first of all. I arrived at 4 as a waitlist walk in, with was ok. I want on when I saw 4 ppl and one family go ahead of me when they arrived after me. The staff kept pulling names to pull to the back and one of them literally picked up my card, looked at it, put it back in the pile and grab another persons card in front of my face. At this time it has been an HR since I arrived. I asked a staff member how do the figure who comes back first? She said, “well normally we take care of the visions with appointments first then side walk ins between.” So I told her, indigo needs a better system because it was really rude what happened in front of my face and to me. You need to get TWO baskets that are labeled “appointments” “walk-ins”, so the customer doesn’t feel neglected or rejected waiting their turn. If you do that then the client be less stressed. Please get a new system

It was great to get a rapid Covid test in such a clean and close-to-home location. Shortly after we got home, we already knew the results! We did have to wait about an hour and a half for the test itself, which is a little rough with a cranky toddler, but we were a walk-in, so we were just glad to be able to make it work at all.

My husband was being tested for covid. I’ve been vaccinated (2 months ago). He tested positive. Provider facilitated my being tested. Thankfully tested negative. Great staff! Thank you for working me in.

My 8yo son needed to be tested for Covid. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that he was happy, comfortable and understood everything happening. Love this Indigo.

Used the pop up Covid test center on Capitol Way, downtown Olympia. It was easy and fast. I drove up and was able to get tested as soon as I could make an appointment on my phone. Very easy. The bedside manner was very pleasant and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick and easy PCR test. Only thing I would do next time is book my appointment before hand.

I came in for Covid testing and it was a smooth, quick visit. I recommend an appointment instead of walk in. I am grateful for the clinic. No waiting and I was even late!

There was a long line on Christmas Eve morning, but staff was friendly and cheerful! They approached the cars in line and checked people in, letting people know they were working as fast and efficiently as possible. Very pleasant staff, who seemed to genuinely care. Thank you!! Thank you for working on Christmas Eve, thank you for taking care of our community, and thank you for your compassion and kindness!! (I booked my appointment for PCR Covid test online earlier in the week.)

Got a covid test. Super nice ladies working. No line so it was very quick. They were nice and clear about what they needed from me. Would go again. 10 out of 10 for everything!!!

Through no fault of their own - the Bird’s Eye Medical staff in charge of intake and the administration of the Covid testing in downtown Olympia, WA were swamped with patients on the snowy day of December 29th. The line of cars stretched back 4 blocks from the testing site. Despite this, the staff was super friendly, courteous, compassionate and professional. You would never guess that they were exhausted or weary of dealing with the endless stream of cranky, sick people who had been waiting in line for hours. I was so impressed with them and couldn’t thank them enough for their persistent kindness and relentless industry! God bless them all!

- Verified patient on 12/30

Took my three young sick boys for Covid test. I wasn't able to swab then myself and hold them down at the same time. It was pouring rain outside at the site and she helped hold their arms down in their cars seats so I could administer test no way I COULD HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HELP

Everyone was very patient with me in getting registered and providing excellent assistance. I highly recommend this clinic for rapid Covid-19 test results. Very kind and helpful regardless of the blustery rainy weather conditions (outdoor drive up testing). Thank you for such great help!!

- Verified patient on 11/15

I just appreciated getting in for a COVID test. Thank you. Booked my appt on line. I am surprised that insurance isn't covering the cost of the rapid test. It certainly seems to me that if people knew they tested positive for COVID, it would help inhibit the spread.

Patricia was great very informative we left with very good information. we cut it close on time to get rapid testing and they were able to get us in. I really appreciate the time and patience and the cleanliness of the entire staff.

I think the medical assistant who helped me was named Hally or Holly but she was amazing. Very friendly, did the tests quickly and efficiently. Best care I’ve ever received from any indigo facility.

Using the drive-thru Covid testing site was easy and fast. I made an appt an hour in advance, went to the site and gave a few more details, self administered the test while sitting in my car. I had my test result in 24 hours. It took 10 minutes

Went in for my Covid test for travel, it was quick and easy. If you fill out your paperwork online it only takes a few minutes before you are on your way. They said I’ll have the results in 36 hours!

- Verified patient on 10/20

The testing site is at the Greyhound station, so you are in your car the whole time. Everything moved quickly and seamlessly. The staff I interacted with were friendly and efficient. They took reasonable precautions to protect themselves from exposure. The wait time was not long at all. I think I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Olympia Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
