NextCare Urgent Care, Fayetteville - 217 Glensford Dr, Fayetteville
This was my first time scheduling an appointment as opposed to being a walk-in. The schedule was adhered to and I was seen within 5 or 10 minutes of checking in. The NP, Lora Lyon, was incredibly friendly and professional. She has actually been my care provider on my past three visits and she is always wonderful. The nurse who took care of me was lovely as well, but I forgot her name.

Quest Diagnostics - 405 Owen Dr
I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Was a walk in and the wait was a bit longer than I'm used to, but they got me in as quickly as possible. The front desk made me feel welcome and they girls were very friendly. I had to talk with the billing office regarding my insurance and they were very professional and courteous. Dr. Raval was very friendly and listened to what I had to say. After seeing him, I understand why others want to come to him. I wasn't rushed through my appointment and he was very thorough. I highly recommend and will be back.

Lumberton Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but the infection is most common among young women. It is recommended that all sexually active women under the age of 25, as well as older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, or a sex partner who has a sexually transmitted infection, get tested for chlamydia annually. Men who have sex with men should also get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a "silent" infection, as most people who have it are not aware because they have no symptoms. However, if left untreated, chlamydia can lead to serious health problems. In women, it can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to long-term pelvic pain, infertility, and ectopic pregnancy. Men can also experience complications, although they are less common. Regular testing is crucial to detect and treat chlamydia before complications occur.
