Was a walk in and the wait was a bit longer than I'm used to, but they got me in as quickly as possible. The front desk made me feel welcome and they girls were very friendly. I had to talk with the billing office regarding my insurance and they were very professional and courteous. Dr. Raval was very friendly and listened to what I had to say. After seeing him, I understand why others want to come to him. I wasn't rushed through my appointment and he was very thorough. I highly recommend and will be back.

I was skeptical reading the reviews on whether or not to visit the office, but my experience has been a lot better than what I anticipated. The only downside is the waiting room time, but the care provided was better than the ones I experienced elsewhere. I am making Dr. Uba my PCP.

Pinehurst Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. It is especially prevalent among young people aged 15-24 years. The CDC recommends annual chlamydia testing for all sexually active women under 25 years and older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners. Men who have sex with men should also get tested annually. If you're in Pinehurst, NC, and fall into these categories, or you have symptoms of chlamydia, it's important to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often silent, with many people showing no symptoms. However, if left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications, including pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Getting tested allows for early detection and treatment, preventing these complications. It also helps to stop the spread of the disease to others.
