Short Wait Time

I’ve visited this urgent care ever since I’ve moved back to the RGV. The first visit was fine and I enjoyed going here. Today I came back because I got worse within the prior time frame of visiting the urgent care. This time a man by the name of Mark charged me and was VERY unprofessional in the manner. It’s a shame that this urgent care hires people like this to help aid those that are sick and need assistance. He was very rude. I don’t recommend him at all to anyone. He couldn’t answer a simple question without a disrespectful comment and tone of voice. Horrible customer service on HIS part. Will refuse him if I choose to go back.

Edinburg Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, older women with new or multiple sex partners, and men who have sex with men should all be tested for chlamydia annually. It's also advised that pregnant women get tested, as chlamydia can cause serious complications for both mother and child.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection that often shows no symptoms, making regular testing critical for detection and treatment. Left untreated, chlamydia can lead to serious health problems like pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Testing is straightforward and can help prevent these complications.
