Waited over 2 1/2 hours. I was a walk in so i expected the wait. Staff was very nice. The room was not clean had sweat stain on the chair and the nurse did say I haven't cleaned the rooms when going in to replace paper for the bed. Other than that everything was good.

Kids always get sick on nights/weekends when our doctor is closed so Nightlight is super convenient and easy to get into during those times. We saw PA Ledesma and she was extremely patient and kind, even taking the extra step of following up with us after checking with the pharmacy to ensure that our medication was free of gluten and wheat. We have always had a good experience here so always take the kids here when we need urgent care.

I waited for 6 hours at Texas childrens urgent care with my toddler who had 104.2 fever so I decided to try here. Got in very quick even when they was busy and very nice. The only problem which was very stressful is that I had my husband and me with our sick 2 year old and 5 month old. They told me 1 parent per room but I couldn’t handle both babies by myself so they split us up. My 2 year old was screaming for me but COVID protocol they couldn’t put us together. It was stressful not being in the same room together and having to hold my baby down so the doctor can check him. The doctor didn’t understand why they didn’t put us together as well. I made it clear to every nurse and staff I saw that I had both kids there and had to run back and forth to try to help my husband and my baby. They was really nice and professional but it made it a hassle and Texas childrens didn’t have a problem with us being in the same room. Just didn’t want to wait for 6 hours to be seen.

This place was a life saver! I am so glad I found them online. My son's pediatrician was booked and he needed to be tested for covid and strep. The wait time was completely reasonable considering the circumstances. Video calls with the doctor and then curbside testing in your car. The staff was extremely kind and you can tell they care. To: Christina and Seema, Words can not express how GREAT, LOVING, PATIENT and KINDHEARTED the staff was to my daughter and myself. My daughter was seen for a sore throat and she was swabbed for Strep Throat and in my opinion she was the worst patient ever and Christina and Seema Ahmed,APRN,FNP endured her while she kicked and screamed and put up a fight. I was so embarrassed due to my daughter’s actions and they not only console her but they consoled me as well! I have 2 toddlers go to the daycare and when 1 get sick then the other one will be next. That’s why my kids are their regular patients as they get sick all time. I usually booked the appointment but then one time I was told “first come first serve, appointment was just for the paperwork”. Ok fine, next time I walked in with no appointment and was told “no walk in accepted, appointment only”. I was so confused as what to do because the management kept on changing their mind. My kid was sick I couldnt wait until tomorrow so I left to another urgent care that day. Tonight, I made an appointment, as I walked in the receptionist already knew by confirmed the name. She was quickly get us a room. The nurses were very thorough and professional. When the dr walked in; I was so happy and felt so lucky when I saw that was Dr Jeannie Huynh. She is the reason why I came back to this place after many issues we had. She always explained the cause and then the treatment so clearly. She always gave the correct diagnosis. I wish they have her as a regular dr at this location.

I scheduled and appt for 8pm. The text I received said to check in by 745 which I did. When I walked in there were 3 other families in the waiting area. No one at the front desk to greet you, just check in on the iPad. I then received a text that said you can check your place in line there were 3 other families listed and it stated 2(1 of which was mine) had an appt and the other 2 were walk ins. I watched 1 appt and 1 walk in go ahead before me and another family left so we got called back around 8:06 because the other family walked out. We were told 4 other families were ahead of us. I asked what the point in making an appt is if that was the case. I knew all the families before us didn’t have appts. At least 2 of them. So, we waited. The lady came in and did vitals and brought us back some ibuprofen. Just handed me the syringe and said to give it to her. Not once did she try to help when she seen I was struggling to give it because my daughter was screaming and kicking she just kept trying to give her a popsicle which wasn’t helping the situation. Before I even finished giving the meds she walked out and said the doctor will be with us shortly. We waited an hour and 15 minutes before I went out to check what the hold up was and they told me she was in the room and I was next. Ok, yeah. So we waited and the doctor walked in at 9:36. She was great but the whole process of how they take the patients back needs to be reassessed. I believe the patients who make appts should be called back before the walk ins because what’s the point in making one when they just take you back by the order you signed in as. Maybe having more than one doctor on site when it’s the busy sick season would be good too. We got out of there going on 10pm and I had to run home check on my newborn who I needed to feed and then go back out again and grab the meds at the 24 hour pharmacy!!

Walked in to this clinic based off previous recommendation. The attending physician had great bedside manners, very thorough and attentive with our son. Our poor rating is reflective of check-in staff. The technician was clearly off put that we had walked in (came in 25 minutes before closing) - her demeanor and overall attention were less than friendly. Some stats listed on discharge papers were never actually taken (height, temperature, pulse, O2 saturation) , so not sure how they were measured. Based off of interaction with some staff and falsified records, do not plan on visiting this clinic again.

It’s after my appt. I’m waiting for my sons prescription since his ear hurts and cvs pharmacy says they still have not received prescription from doctor. Before leaving, I even asked the doctor if the antibiotic would be sent to the pharmacy and she said yes. This is something serious. The whole point of me making the appt is so he wouldn’t be in pain tonight or tomorrow morning. And now I have to work tomorrow. I can’t pick up his med until after work. I’m so so mad. My son was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I was able to book our appointment online, complete all the necessary paperwork digitally and when we arrived we waited for less than 2 minutes before we were called back. We chose to have him tested using the rapid test and we were able to wait in the room for his results. I appreciate their efficiency in our time of need.

I was able to schedule an appointment for my daughter and be seen within 30 mins of scheduling. Checked in online and brought back immediately for testing and then called back within 10 mins and maybe waited less than 10 minutes for the provider. He was friendly and professional. I really appreciated his efforts to help my daughter feel comfortable as she was embarrassed regarding the reason for her visit. I would definitely recommend to others, especially nice for parents who work and aren’t able to get into their normal pediatrician office.

My daughter was sick running fever. I was able to get her seen same day. The environment and staff was welcoming. The nurse was sweet, kind while screening my child. Doctor was quick. I had such a great experience, I have switched over our pcp.

Urgent Care for Kids is a Texas-based pediatric urgent care chain founded in 2011 by Brian White and Kevin Pearce, who identified a gap in after-hours, non-emergency care for children. The first clinic opened on November 1, 2011 in Keller, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The company expanded quickly across the Dallas and Houston markets, and by 2014 had positioned itself as the largest pediatric urgent care provider in Texas. It subsequently entered the Austin market, adding clinics across the state. The organization operates as a child-focused alternative to pediatric emergency departments, treating patients ages zero through 21 for a broad range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, with extended weekday and weekend hours and no appointment required. Urgent Care for Kids has received Urgent Care Association accreditation.

"Waited over 2 1/2 hours. I was a walk in so i expected the wait. Staff was very nice. The room was not clean had sweat stain on the chair and the nurse did say I haven't cleaned the rooms when going in to replace paper for the bed. Other than that everything was good."
