QUICKmed Urgent Care, Medina Urgent Care - 955 N Court St
Tested positive for Covid on Sunday, made appt for Wednesday because I was feeling so sick. I wanted to make sure nothing else was going on. Doctor was rude from the get go and basically told me to suck it up and it wasn't necessary to miss work. Very condescending, she had a young man shadowing her and he was very nice- he did seem uncomfortable with her bedside manner.

Sparkling Clean

My eye was almost swollen shut from poison ivy, so I went in. She told me right off there would probably be around a 45 minute wait because of two other cases there, which I appreciated being told up front! Mine wasn’t an emergency so it was fine. When it was my turn to go in, it was only a few minutes before the doctor came in...They were so nice (and I wish I was better with remembering names) and the doctor made sure everything else was ok and wasn’t rushing me through. I would recommend this place....I appreciated their kindness and efficiency!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have come into contact with infected blood. Those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, or have been born to a mother with hepatitis should also consider getting tested. It's also recommended for healthcare workers, and individuals with chronic liver disease or HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. According to the CDC, early detection can help prevent these complications and ensure that the individual receives the necessary care and treatment. Furthermore, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
