I had a tonsil stone and saw Ashley G. She was absolutely amazing!!! She was 100% patient with me and answered every question that I asked. Not once did I feel rushed. I have to also say that the female assistant that was at the front desk was also very helpful and kind.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, shared needles, or from an infected mother to her newborn, should get tested. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, those with multiple sexual partners, and people who inject drugs. Additionally, individuals with a weakened immune system, such as those with HIV, should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, preventing potential complications like liver damage and liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making regular testing vital for those at risk. By getting tested, individuals can also take steps to prevent transmitting the virus to others.
