About

About PM Pediatrics

PM Pediatric Care was founded in 2005 by Dr. Jeffrey Schor, a pediatric emergency medicine physician, and Steven Katz, a healthcare management consultant. Dr. Schor had served as director of pediatric emergency medicine at a major New York City hospital, and the two designed PM Pediatrics explicitly as a subspecialty urgent care environment for children and young adults. The company is headquartered in New Hyde Park, New York. Clinics are purpose-built with pediatric-appropriate equipment, staff training, and physical environments designed to reduce anxiety in young patients. PM Pediatrics expanded from its Long Island origins into a multistate network spanning the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. The company subsequently broadened its service scope to include behavioral and mental health care for children and adolescents.
