I felt I was finally heard during this appt I was to two other outside offices and here she heard my struggle with my asthma and treated it the right way

I’ve had a cold that I just can’t kick, and a possibly broken toe. I scheduled an appointment instantly and went to DOCS for both, and while I appreciated the medical assistant, he lost me when he wheeled in an iPad with a fast-talking doctor. Perhaps it was the 7% battery that rushed the appointment, but apparently my upper respiratory infection is because I use cotton swabs to clean my ears. So, now I have ear drops to clear out my sinuses and chest. Maybe I need to drink them? I had such a great experience when I almost cut off my finger, but this was a prime example of no one caring about anything except billing my insurance and taking a copay. If I wanted to talk to an iPad, I could have done telehealth at home (though the wireless otolaryngologist attachments were pretty cool, I admit). Sorry, DOCS. This piss-poor bedside manner just lost you a customer. Notice how I didn’t mention the toe. Yeah, neither did they.

I am so very pleased with the level of care from reception, incoming nurse, nurse practitioner and x-ray tech. They were all kind and understanding to a very sick senior citizen. I am blessed to have such high quality Urgent Care in Smithtown. Thank you all.

Staff was great and took us in immediately in a holiday weekend.  This was the only facility we found open and was well worth the 15 minute drive.   Convenient location and outstanding staff that was caring and very responsive.  Highly recommend!!

There was no wait, but I had to use an app to check in, which took about 10 minutes.  So, why are there employees at the front desk, if I’m doing their job for them?  I could see the benefit of this if there were 5 people waiting to check in… but they couldn’t do my intake when I was literally the only person in the waiting room? I was pulled into the room pretty quickly, but then waiting in the exam room for about 1/2 hour.  The doctor was friendly and listened to my list of symptoms and then examined me.   Besides the check in process and wait to be seen by the doctor , everything was positive.

Visited for a COVID test. Staff is very efficient and friendly. I appreciate the service.
