I have Medicare and Humana Medicaid and yet this company bill me and charged my credit card $219. I’ve been trying to have Priva bill the insurance for a month. Also to refund my credit card. I get the same bs story they act like I haven’t called five times already. They say we’ll bill the insurance and refund your card. But never do. I will start a blog, because I’m over getting ripped of by Priva.

Urgent care in Coral Springs, FL

Coral Springs is a planned, family-oriented suburb in northwest Broward County, with a young median age and steady demand for after-school and weekend care. You can book a same-day visit at an urgent care clinic in Coral Springs, FL on Solv, or see options for urgent care in Fort Lauderdale when you need a clinic outside the immediate area.

What services do urgent care clinics in Coral Springs offer?

Coral Springs urgent care clinics treat the everyday acute issues that don't need a hospital — minor injuries, lacerations, sprains and strains, flu and strep testing, COVID-19 testing, UTIs, rashes, ear infections, pink eye, minor burns, and seasonal allergies. Most also offer on-site X-ray, lab draws, IV fluids for dehydration, sports and DOT physicals, occupational health and workers' compensation visits, and travel vaccines. Broward Health and HCA Florida operate the largest networks in the Coral Springs corridor, supplemented by retail and independent walk-in clinics.2 For an everyday problem that needs same-day attention, a walk-in clinic is typically faster and significantly less expensive than an emergency-room visit. Most Coral Springs clinics handle both adults and children, support online booking with a published estimated wait time, and process electronic insurance verification at check-in. Many also offer telehealth visits as an alternative when symptoms don't require an in-person evaluation, which is useful for simple respiratory symptoms, medication refills, or follow-up consultations.

Does urgent care in Coral Springs accept Medicaid?

Many urgent care clinics in Coral Springs accept Medicaid, Florida's Medicaid program administered by AHCA.1 Coverage varies by provider — managed care plan participation differs across networks, so confirm acceptance of your specific plan and managed care organization before booking. Some independent clinics participate with a narrower subset of Medicaid plans than the larger hospital-affiliated walk-in networks. According to KFF State Health Facts, Medicaid covers a meaningful share of Florida residents and is one of the most common payers at retail-style urgent care centers nationally.3 If a particular clinic doesn't accept your plan, ask about cash-pay rates — most sites publish a transparent visit price for self-pay patients.

How does Coral Springs urgent care relate to Fort Lauderdale?

Coral Springs lies in northwest Broward County between Parkland and Tamarac, with most major-care patients routing south to the Fort Lauderdale corridor for specialty services. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Coral Springs had a population of approximately approximately 134,000 as of the 2020 Census, which shapes both the density of clinics and the mix of providers you'll find locally.4 For most everyday issues — fevers, sprains, lacerations, strep — local walk-in clinics resolve the visit without ever needing a trip into the larger metro. When a clinic in town is closed or fully booked, residents often expand the search to urgent care in Fort Lauderdale for additional walk-in and bookable options, particularly for late-night or holiday visits when smaller-town hours are more limited.

Costs for a typical Coral Springs urgent care visit run substantially lower than an emergency-room visit for the same problem. Most walk-in clinics collect a copay or coinsurance at the front desk for insured patients, with cash-pay rates for common visit types like strep tests, UTI evaluation, school and sports physicals, and basic injury care typically published on the clinic's website or visible during booking. Choosing a walk-in clinic over the ER for non-emergency problems saves both money and time — most urgent care visits resolve in under an hour, compared with multi-hour ER waits during busy periods. When you book on Solv, you can compare insurance acceptance, cash-pay pricing, and current wait times across clinics in Coral Springs and the surrounding area before you arrive.
