I have waited to write this review as i don't like being negative. I have 2 recent experiences at this office. 1 scheduled appointment and 1 walk in with my 2 yr old after an accident. Both times the wait times and office staff and technicians were fantastic. They all appropriately engaged with my daughter and did their best to make her feel comfortable. Unfortunately I am not happy with the care and service of the Nurse Practioner I saw both times. I feel my daughters head laceration was delt with incorrectly, even after multiple questions about the procedure. After a ER visit and CHLA visit for the same laceration later that day, it was deemed that they would have done the treatment differently and as time had passed there was little that could be done. Basically my 2 yr old will probably end up with more of a scar on her forehead due to method that was used. At my following appointment The Nurse Practitioner asked how my 2 yr old was at my and when I explained she made no comment and seemed uninterested.

Glendale Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but the infection is more common in certain groups. Young women (25 years and under), men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners are particularly at risk. If you fall into any of these categories, or if you have had unprotected sex with a new partner, you should consider getting tested for chlamydia.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a 'silent' infection because it frequently does not cause symptoms. This means many people may be unaware they have the infection, which can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men. Regular testing is crucial to detect and treat chlamydia early, preventing these complications and reducing the spread of the infection.
