Made an appointment for my son’s cough and a rash that spread about his body. Brookelyn Johnson was very attentive and took all the proper measures to finding a solution to our concern. After three days of wrestling with the decision to go in and get checked out because I am having surgery in six days, they were very, very helpful and taking care of my need to be checked for the three different types of pathogens that are going around and then they wrote me a nice letter for my Surgery physician and also put me on Antibiotics just in case I very much appreciated their professionalism

I went for an injury on my toe. The receptionist was so kind. After I checked in, she didn’t make me get up again until it was time to go back to a room. The doctor was excellent. She was sensitive and compassionate

Stillwater Medical Urgent Care And Occupational Medicine - 518 E Lakeview Rd
Made an appointment and had to wait 40 minutes past appointment time. Better than walking in and having to wait the full time. Nurse practitioner was very professional and provided exceptional care. The female nurse on the other hand was not as hard working. We had to wait for a strep test and while waiting for 45 minutes for the results we had to listen to the nurse station conversation from room 1. They were more interested in their used car shopping than returning promptly to patients. It was frustrating as a parent waiting with a sick toddler who doesn’t understand why we have to wait so long. I ended up leaving the patient room and approached the nurse station to inquire. They were surprised and quickly responded that they just printed the results. I was not trying to be confrontational only trying to keep the visit moving for the next person in line. We waited longer than it takes for a step test and had to listen to nurse chit chat. Not the quality SMC care we are used to.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from mother to child during childbirth, should get tested. This includes individuals who have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with hepatitis. Additionally, those who have traveled to regions with high rates of hepatitis, such as certain parts of Asia and Africa, should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection allows for timely treatment and can prevent the spread of the virus to others. It's also important to note that many people with hepatitis do not show symptoms until the disease has progressed, making regular testing vital for those at risk.
