My son was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I was able to book our appointment online, complete all the necessary paperwork digitally and when we arrived we waited for less than 2 minutes before we were called back. We chose to have him tested using the rapid test and we were able to wait in the room for his results. I appreciate their efficiency in our time of need.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from mother to child during childbirth, should get tested. This also includes healthcare workers, people with chronic liver disease, and those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis. It's also recommended for all adults over the age of 18 to get tested at least once in their lifetime, and more frequently for those with risk factors.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection can lead to effective treatment and prevention of these complications. It's also important to get tested to prevent the spread of the virus to others.
