I have been miserable. I don’t like going to the doctor because I think “I’ll get better”. Went to acute care. OMG. In and out within 30 mins. The provider gave me multiple RXs to deal with my issues. Horrible cough, congestion, headache, itchy eyes…definitely miserable. Four days later…feeling better.

When checking in at the Texas MedClinic waiting time was lengthy, but once we were called to the back. The Medical Assistant was absolutely very Thorough has a excellent personality I would like if Esther skills were passed on to the intire team. The Doctor also was very thorough and explaining over the treatment and follow up. I diffently would recommend this facility. Just make sure and register online before arriving so it can cut down on the waiting time.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this location. The pediatrician/NP was great and I have no complaints about the medical provider, but the front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was absolutely no courtesy or respect in the way we were spoken to. As parents bringing in our children, we should not be made to feel like we are an inconvenience or be talked to like we're garbage. I especially had a poor experience with the woman at the front desk who wears glasses. The customer service was unacceptable. We also accidentally left a pair of glasses behind, and instead of the situation being handled professionally, it added to an already frustrating experience. I would recommend going to the Fredericksburg location or another Little Spurs location instead. The medical provider here was good, but unfortunately the front desk experience was enough that I would not return to this location because that front staff is absolutely so rude. The staff here is always great! My son is always injurying himself and the staff always puts me at ease! We have been seen at this location multiple times with different providers and they have all been amazing! I can't thank them enough for always checking out my son in a timely manner and with such care and compassion. Thank you.

About Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing is a group of diagnostic tests that measure various markers in the blood to assess the presence and severity of inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a natural response of the immune system to infections and injuries. However, chronic inflammation may indicate an underlying health condition, such as autoimmune diseases, infections, or certain cancers. Inflammation Marker Testing plays a crucial role in identifying and monitoring inflammatory conditions, allowing healthcare providers to formulate appropriate treatment plans.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Lakehills, Texas, and have symptoms suggestive of chronic inflammation, such as persistent pain, fever, fatigue, or unexplained weight loss, Inflammation Marker Testing is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a history of autoimmune disorders or those undergoing treatment for inflammatory conditions may benefit from these tests to assess disease activity and response to therapy.

Tests Included in Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing may include:

  • C-reactive Protein (CRP) Test
  • Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) Test
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential
  • Other markers such as Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-alpha)

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Inflammation Marker Testing results involves evaluating the levels of specific markers in the blood. Elevated levels of CRP, ESR, and other inflammatory markers may indicate the presence of inflammation and the severity of the inflammatory response. These results help healthcare providers diagnose and manage inflammatory conditions.

Importance of Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing is important for:

  • Diagnosing and monitoring inflammatory conditions
  • Assessing disease activity and treatment response
  • Identifying potential underlying causes of chronic inflammation
  • Guiding treatment decisions and adjusting therapy as needed

Following the Test

After Inflammation Marker Testing, healthcare providers discuss the results with individuals and develop a comprehensive treatment plan based on the specific inflammatory condition. Treatment may involve anti-inflammatory medications, immunosuppressive drugs, lifestyle modifications, and regular follow-up to monitor disease progression.

Inflammation Marker Testing is a valuable tool for healthcare providers in Lakehills, Texas, to assess and manage inflammatory conditions effectively, leading to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.
