Everything was good except for one thing... She did the quick results in front of me and I was very surprised and unprepared for one of the results to be a non-negative. It turned out to be because of a prescription that I'm on. It was very unsettling. They should ask about prescriptions and/or provide a list of medications that will affect the results. We have enough anxiety in society already.

Getting Tested for STDs in Tigard, OR

Who should get tested for STDs?

STD testing is recommended for anyone who is sexually active, regardless of age or gender. It's especially important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or use intravenous drugs. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV should get tested annually for STDs. If you're in Tigard, OR, and fall into any of these categories, consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for your health and the health of your partners. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning you may not experience any symptoms but can still transmit the disease.
