I have been to 2 physical therapists then to 1st doctor in less than a week, with what I thought was a really bad vertigo spell, long story short 1st doctor wasn't concerned even though I pleaded that something was definitely wrong....Dr. Robert Jackson was total opposite! Starting with scheduling, the options were ENDLESS!! How convenient and easy it was to get appointment and very quickly and last minute!!!! As soon as I arrived, the office manager (for the life of me, I can't think of her name😔) greeted me very sincerely and got right to getting me checked in. Within a few minutes I had barely got in the chair to wait before McKenna's smiling face was greeting me ready to start vitals! She was very sweet and caring, listening intently! Took me to the room, and soon after Dr. Jackson came in...first impression very kind face and demeanor! Listened closely to every word of my symptom story which at this point was a weeks worth of episodes....he was very reassuring in a scary situation for me, he immediately did an exam then said he wanted to run all the test and get Started so we could get closer to finding an answer for the way I was feeling! All of my symptoms could be related to so many different things, and he wanted to cover everything....So the tests began immediately...urine, ekg, & blood work! How easy and convenient for a PCP, don't have to go all over town for multiple visits! They even gave me a blanket because I was rather chilly! We got finished with all the test and Dr. Jackson came back in and said he was gonna even try to help relieve or ease symptoms a little until we got blood work back!! Such a great experience and what an absolute pleasure it was meeting the staff! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jackson and his team at American Family Care...I live in a small town with tons of Dr.s in-between but it is worth the little extra drive for me to have a good doctor! I will return!!

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

A friend of ours recommended Saint Thomas Urgent Care to us a few months ago. This is the 2nd time I’ve taken my kids here. Both times we’ve seen Amanda and both visits were exceptional! All staff were very kind, respectful & gave clear instructions. From the simple online checkin process of filling out everything in advance to being called back within 5min of arrival both times. No one likes going to the doctor, especially when they don’t feel well, but this location made the entire experience more pleasant. So for all of the reasons above, we will be back next time we’re ill. If you’re needing an urgent care clinic in the area, I highly recommend Saint Thomas!

I was very surprised with my experience here. My appointment was made very quickly. I was seen in a very short period of time. My test results came back in a very timely manner. I was able to speak with a doctor soon after and was taking care of. I was very satisfied with the experience I had here. I definitely recommend using them for any issues you have or any questions you may have.

Recognized symptoms of a UTI. Went online 1 pm. Signed up for a 2:45 appt. Got there, got tested, got a prescription, and was out of there in under a half hour. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a local clinic to get a simple test most of all the other clinics was full for not taking patients I contacted this facility and they had availability but you had to be a walk in. The staff was extremely nice especially Yesenia which was the nurse attendant who answered the phone and process my paperwork. These people are extremely nice and professional and if you're in the area I would highly recommend them and their services.

I went in on Sunday as a new patient wanting a COVID test as I suspect I came into contact with a non-mask wearing person who is now testing positive. I was in at 1 pm, filled out the paperwork, saw a nurse almost immediately for a history and a a test, saw a nurse practitioner for contact tracing and I was out of the office by 1:35 pm. Very efficient. AND... Urgent Care will bill Medicare for this service!!! Thank you.

This was a Covid PCR test as we transit outside the US on vacation. My only real comment is you need to get rid of the pdf version of the new patient info form. Doing that yesterday, then having to transcribe the info, was inconvenient as anything.

I was a sick walk in today, arrived and checked in at 915am and was there close to 4 hours! As I requested a covid test, I was asked to wait in my car and waited there for 2 hours. The provider, Dr. Campbell, spent all of 5 mins with me, ordered a CXR, had that done and waited some more. By the time I chose to leave, I had been there 3 hrs and 45 mins! I've been to the clinic before and never had to wait like this. When you're sick, waiting almost 4 hours feels like an eternity. I feel bad for the provider and staff to be that booked up and overloaded. They need additional hands, MA's and providers! Such a shame, but don't think I'll ever walk in again. Apparently, I should have made an appointment even though it's an urgent care walk in clinic.

I love this clinic!! I come when I need a covid test, and everyone is so friendly and helpful!!!

I was willing to drive further just to have an appointment. I liked checking in online and knowing how many people were ahead of me in line. Great care and quick test results.

- Verified patient on 9/3

Very positive experience. I had an appointment. Highly recommended to avoid long wait. I have gone without appt before and they got me in, but wait was long. Staff from front desk to treatment room are friendly and helpful. Included a follow-up call to ensure I received test results promptly.

- Verified patient on 12/15

I was told it would be a 2.5 hour wait and I waited over 4 hours. That was frustrating. The front desk was pretty curt. Not rude, but definitely not friendly. The person who took my test was super friendly and nice though and made the experience ok.

The staff was great, very helpful with registering and getting prepared for our testing.

From phone call from office staff to medical ppl who advised and performed my test these guys were excellent.

I went for a Covid Test for my employer and knew the wait time would be long given everything going on. Many patient were not kind to the staff, but they kept their cool and treated everyone with respect.

- Verified patient on 8/19

I didn't feel any time was put into figuring out what was wrong. I spent a total of 5 minutes with the NP and was sent on my way. I came in with a sore throat and pain on that side of my face. He took a quick look and said it didn't look like strep and asked if I wanted to take a covid test and that was pretty much it. I cannot say if the cost was what I expected as I have not received a bill.

- Verified patient on 9/28

I went in for a Covid fast test. The wait was minimal and everyone was cordial and professional. In and out in a reasonable time.

- Verified patient on 8/11

I have an appointment at 9:30 am for a Covid test I arrived at 9:30 and had already done all my paperwork and check in online. However I had to wait until 10:30 am before I could be seen. even though I was just there for a Covid test… I was treated as if I was a new patient with a medical need. I didn’t understand that until I saw my bill which was $$120. I knew the Covid test would not be free but did not expect… And was not told upfront… That I would be paying for the full service of the facility as opposed to just a test.

Wait was long but understandable due to an abundance of patients ahead of my appointment time who were getting tested for Covid-19

It was fine. I was in and out quickly. I wish they would stick to the covid precautions. There are signs on the door that said masks must be worn. I know they’re also only allowed to let 3 people in at a time. When I got there a group of 5 unvaccinated women were there (they were talking about it). They were there just to get Covid tests to go to a concert. Only one of them was wearing a mask. It was super frustrating because responsible people are doing what they can to stop spreading covid but when we need medical care we’re still being exposed to people that won’t even wear a mask. This seems unacceptable in a medical facility.

I went in for covid-19 testing and everything from wait time through check-in and procedure was very efficient and done with quality Care.

- Verified patient on 1/8

As a walk in for a rapid Covid test they were able to get to me today with a 1 1-2 hours. All other places I tried was going to be 5-10 days.

- Verified patient on 12/31

I came here to find out what was wrong with me. I told the receptionist that if they felt it was needed to do a test then I’d do one. I felt it was all about the test and I got tested and pushed away without hearing any reasoning of why I could possibly be feeling the way I am. Your practice would be great if the nurses would actually listen and try to give insight.

Excellent care. My husband and I went in for a Covid test and everyone treated us with kindness, concern and professionalism. There was no wait time. Thank you.

- Verified patient on 9/2

Short wait time and the testing was fast. Super easy to book an appointment.

I had an urgent need for a covid test one day before traveling to visit several top accounts of mine. The clinic was completely filled with patients and the overload was not expected by staff nor me. The wait took longer than expected. The staff was very working hard to accommodate all needs. Each were very apologetic for the unexpected wait. I was impressed with their concern as well as the good advice and direction of treatments offered. Pleased.

Nashville Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
