My father had a pain in his side that made him groan every couple of minutes. His doctor’s office was closed, so we needed an urgent care clinic that accepted Medicare. Found CityDoc, scheduled online for that afternoon, and completed all the paperwork online. It was easy, and check-in was easy and smooth. Everyone at the clinic was very nice, and the doctor was very nice  and quite thorough. I would definitely recommend this provider and this clinic. *The day after our visit, my father reported his pain was getting worse. We went to the emergency room for painkillers, and they recommended a CT scan, which showed two broken ribs. CityDoc had x-rayed his rib(s) and told us no fractures were seen. So maybe not such a strong recommendation to CityDoc although everyone was very nice.

I had a Covid test so I didn’t go inside but the women that helped us outside were very friendly and helpful!!

I went for a covid test on Friday afternoon and they performed it quickly and efficiently. I got my quick test results in about 25 minutes and my PCR results in less than 48 hours even on a weekend.

The provider I believe her name was Dr. Clem was quick to get me out the door and acted as if I was not imporatant when I asked for her to look at my son and why was there swelling under his tongue and that I was concerned if there was congestion in his lungs she recommended covid testing I asked her could it be flu since my son had been around my grandbaby who was diagnosed with flu 2 days prior to my visit, her response was it was probably a false positive but she did not explain why she felt it was negative, I did ask for a flu test even thou she was reluctant to do one, then the nurse returned shortly afterwards and stated the results of the covid were negative as well as his flu test but I had to ask again why was there swelling under my son's tongue since both test were negative, the provider finally had told me it was his congestion. I have been here several times in the past and had not had to expierence a bad bed side manner from a provider I am hoping she was just not feeling well or not aware of this and will improve on my next visit.

The lady that did our test was amazing. Best customer service. She was patient, calming. She made sure me and my kids were comfortable and relaxed. She was very nice. Very professional but also welcoming like she knew us forever. Which is good during a stressful time like this.

My daughter had an appointment today. Was seen on time and the nurse or PA was very kind and tested my daughter for anything she suspected my daughter could have. She did a thrall examination on her and gave us medical advice and treatment plan. Thank you for seeing my daughter!

Laura was absolutely phenomenal with my son. She listened to what I said, did a thorough exam, and tested for multiple things to make sure we were covering all possibilities based on his symptoms.

I had to have a Covid-19 test done there and the person who took my test was so nice and she made me feel comfortable as she knew I was nervous about the nostril swab. Great in and out testing!

- Verified patient on 1/7

Wait time was very long. There was one person ahead of me waiting and it still took them 45 minutes to see me. That’s a long time to make a 2 year old wait. Doctor was nice, kinda vague. Wish she had done some tests or something. Just said it was an ear infection and sent us on our way. My baby had other symptoms so I wish she would have flu/strep/covid tested at least.

- Verified patient on 10/25

The nurse/tech made the experience so comfortable for my little one. She said she felt brave bc her previous covid test hurt. I didn’t get her name but she made such a difference to my little ones fear of the covid test.

- Verified patient on 3/20

I had to send my daughter with my niece for covid testing. The team worked closely with my niece and myself to confirm she was getting the right treatment and that the proper consent was in place. We received quick results even over the holiday and a knowledgeable doctor helped explain the issues to me. I would recommend Little Spurs to anyone!

We went in for a pediatric Covid test, after talking it over with the nurse, reviewing symptoms, the nurse ultimately advised that it was most likely a cold. We were in and out quickly.

Garland Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
