UPDATE. although I asked about Covid, the PA poo pooed it and did not test me. I tested myself on Sunday and tested positive. 😳😔 ——/-/—————— Had a lingering very painful sore throat for 3rd day. I walked in and this was my first visit. There is no MD but a P A. This was the best urgent care visit I ever had. Used to go to Medicare Xpress but now I will go here instead. Very kind staff and efficient. Thank you all.

Although I had an appointment, I still had to wait a half hour before my turn. I had to explain why I was there to 3 people: the MA, the intern, then the provider. My symptoms included cough, congestion, headache, sore throat. When I came 3 months earlier with similar symptoms, I was prescribed one medication for cough and another for congestion. This time I was not given any prescriptions. I would not have wasted my time if I knew I would not be given a prescription to relieve my symptoms.

Unfortunately this was a return from previous Saturday. Diagnosed as viral but symptoms continue. Today was prescribed an antibiotic, hopefully this will take care of it. I did not make an appointment. Staff was great. Only had about 45 minute wait.
